The Summer Solstice is the most powerful day of the year for the sun energies and as our first potion of the Wheel of the Year, “Litha Potion” is perfect to enjoy these hot days even if some of us aren’t that comfortable with heat. Instructions:
Light the candle every time you make a step of the process to concentrate the fire energy into every ingredient.
Mix the almond gum powder with 2 cups of water in a container, cover it and let it set for 24 hours.
Put the lemon and mint in a large jar.
Pour over enough boiling water to cover the lemon.
Add enough honey to make it sweet enough.
Let it cool.
Strain the liquid into a glass.
Get your almond gum and strain out the excess liquid.
Add this to a lemonade, and stir.
Refrigerate and add some crushed ice, and then its ready to be served!

For each turn of the seasons, 8 potions to celebrate with nature the cycles of the earth and everything that it gives us, to get full of energy and good vibes and maybe have a sweet time with the coven or by yourself .゚*☆

🌍 i celebrate the solstices, equinoxes, and fire festivals as markers for the seasons passing, knowing when to plant and when to harvest, etc. i know many witches time their workings to moon phases, but mine are timed to these festivals. my craft grows slowly over the course of the year, like roots spreading underground.
🌱 speaking of roots, i grow a lot of plants! many of them are native irish plants that’ll help to support local wildlife. all of my outdoor plants are edible or produce fruit, and most of them are pretty useful as spell ingredients, too.
♻️ i try to improve my surroundings by planting bee-friendly plants, making ponds, insect hotels, hedgehog shelters, etc. i know there’s really no ethical consumption under capitalism, buuut i’ll still try to minimise the harm i do by using fewer disposable products, not supporting the animal industry, either making things myself or supporting more ethical companies, etc.
🏔 i use a lot of crystals/rocks/minerals for things like cleansing, grounding, or raising particular types of energy. my collection is mostly small tumblestones, which are never quite as beautiful as a large raw piece of rock, imo, but they are affordable and they do what i need them to!
create each one simple sigil for representing the 5 elements
draw each sigil in coin size on paper and cut them out round
heat up your wax with a spoon and candle and start creating
when all five sigil pockets are done you can start charging!
☆ charge your sigil pockets ☆
☆ create the witch circle ☆
align your sigil pockets as if you would draw a star like the usual witch circle. now you can charge items or do spellwork with the power of the elements by putting said item into the middle of your circle (yes that’s a pineapple):
☆ tips and tricks ☆
perfect for every wallet, purse or travel altar box bc small
you can hide them pretty easily if you’re a closet witch
if someone throws them away, they are easy to replace
use a waterproof pen so they don’t smudge when you charge
easy method to carry around representations of the elements
perfect for low spoons bc once created they only need charging
happy crafting ♡♡♡ i hope this is fun or helpful for some people ^____^
hello greenies! i’ve been getting sicker and sicker as the seasons change and so have my fellow witches. this is a loose recipe that i use for colds and i hope it can help. sorry if the measurements aren’t exact!
for kettle:
4 cups of water
2 lemons
chopped ginger (an inch? maybe less depending on how strong you want it)
a small handful of peppermint (i have the hands of a child)
2 sticks on cinnamon
honey (will put in at the end)
for cup
1 cup of water
¼ of an inch of ginger
a few of leaves of peppermint
half a stick ( if you have powder use like 1 tsp?) of cinnamon
honey (will put in at the end)
directions
heat up water until it comes to a nice low boil/simmer. place ginger, peppermint, and cinnamon in.
after 4 minutes place thyme and lemon.
***for the lemon make sure you cut in half, squeeze out, and place the peels in the water (for kettles place 1 of the lemon shells in the water, for cup place a few slices). let sit for another 4 minutes. then when done put in cups!
put in as much honey as you want! (i use about a tablespoon per cup) stir clockwise and chant:
“Frost in the body, cast out.
Mother Earth bring to me health and wellness.
Bring to me the warmth of spring.
Frost in the body, cast out.”
visualize a green light flowing into the cup as you chant and as you drink that same light travels into you.
