The fact that he’s the happiest about School of Rock, and the fact that School of Rock is my ultimate comfort film, makes me very pleased

He is right though, because of this movie he starred in “rock schools” opened all over the country. A lot of music lessons in general took a shift from traditional music based to teaching kids how to be in a band. I took piano lessons as a teen at one of those schools and the teacher taught me out of a lesson book but also taught me how to play a Dresden Dolls song. His movie changed/modernized music education, I’m so glad he’s most proud of that movie.

A young, talented scientist named Yzma (played by Ariana Grande) stumbles onto a plot orchestrated by a corrupt empire. "Don't say queer when you mean lgbtq+" I meant queer, that's why I said queer. Your trauma with that word is valid, your discomfort with that word is valid. However, don't force your discomfort on me. Don't try to correct me because you think what you have to say is more worthy than what I have to say, or because you think the term you prefer to use is more valid than the one I do.

Frankly the term lgbtq+ makes me uncomfortable and I hate it being used for me. But I'm not going to yell at people who use that instead of queer because my issues with the term are my own problem. Again, anyone's trauma and discomfort with the word queer is very very real and very understandable and I'm not trying to downplay that or pretend it doesn't matter. But don't project that onto me. I said exactly what I meant to say.
