I can't believe they did that to Bucky, I mean, Bucky DID that to Tony. Now everybody hates Bucky, everybody in the avengers fandom, and it sucks, I hate civil war.
putting this under a read more just in case:
i don’t know about everyone else but i still love Bucky with all my heart. i’m very sad about the after credits scene because i wish they could have done more for him than just put him in a box until he can be “fixed” and i’m afraid he won’t come back for a while, which bums me out a lot but at least he’s safe from the people that want to harm him and that’s all that matters to me tbh.
i feel like those who have decided to hate Bucky because of what he did as the Winter Soldier are a little narrow-minded, because it’s very clear that he was conditioned and not himself at all when those things happened. it showed even more when he hurt Steve while he was under Zemo’s influence - he didn’t have the ability to choose not to hurt Steve. he didn’t have the ability to choose at all. he was just doing what was asked of him without any way of saying no.Â
same goes for what happened with Tony’s parents. what i don’t get is why people have suddenly decided to hate him now when we’ve known about what he did since TWS came out. Tony finding out doesn’t change the fact that the Soldier did what he did without Bucky being able to stop it. is it worse because Tony is hurting? is it because it’s created a divide between Tony and Steve? either way, i don’t think it’s reason enough to hate Bucky. if you’re gonna hate someone, hate the people who created the Winter Soldier, not Bucky.
T’Challa was right, Bucky is a victim and i feel like a lot of people are forgetting that right now...
Civil War kicked my ass just as much the second time around but i’m glad i went again because i noticed some things i hadn’t the first time and i got to appreciate every single Steve/Bucky moment even more ♥
omg. ok, so i love spoliers. What was the dialog like between steve and bucky when steve just shows up at buckys apartment. like, was bucky surprised?

Bucky didn’t seem that surprised, he actually kind of sneaked up on Steve? like Steve was talking to Sam via his earpiece and the camera panned out a little and we saw Bucky standing on the other side of the room behind him.
Steve seemed to sense his presence and turned around, they didn’t exactly greet each other but Steve asked him if he remembered him and Bucky said he read about him at the museum but he was lying and Steve called him out on it (if i remember correctly).
then they talked about the bombing and Bucky said “i don’t do that anymore” and Steve told him people were coming for him and weren’t planning on taking him alive. Bucky said it was a smart move and then a pretty epic fight and flight sequence happens with very creative uses of stairway railings and Bucky jumping out a window like in the trailer :)
YOU WANTED YELLING SO I COME YELLING!! IT WAS SO PACKED! SO MUCH ACTION AND AMAZING FIGHTING CHOREOS! WHOA I just came back from watching it so I can't really even process this really :DD
omggg right?! the fight scenes were fucking epic, my eyes were screaming they were so beautiful and inventive ♥
i’m having a hard time processing everything as well, i’ve been screaming internally since i set foot in the theater tbh
i went to see Civil War today so if you’ve seen it and want to scream about it or if you haven’t yet but want reviews/spoilers literally just come into my inbox and yell at me
