I don't think Jaime can love Brienne. He needs a passion, adventure, danger - that's Cersei. Brienne is a nice girl, sure. But I doubt she can give him consuming love, he has that with Cersei. what do you think?
First, “he needs a passion, adventure, danger” - sounds like one of those fanon ideas that have little to no canon basis. There is nothing that indicates that Jaime loves Cersei because she gives him “adventure and danger”. I’m sure there’s an element of transgression, of defying norms, a taste for the forbidden in their relationship that might have spiced things up, but I don’t think any of that was the determining factor. He loves Cersei because she is his twin. Because she’s part of him. She is the first thing he knew in the world, and his only companion to navigate the sad, lonely days of his childhood; she is the first archetype of femininity Jaime knew, and I like to think he had something similar to an imprinting with her - meaning that, if Cersei had been a meek, timid girl, he would have loved her like burning all the same. Turns out, Cersei is all wildfire, and clearly Jaime adores that, but he does because it’s Cersei. And the way he feels for Cersei is so special and complex and complicated by so many factors that it just can’t be used as a gauge to determine Jaime’s tastes in women or sexual/romantic desires. Jaime and Cersei are one of a kind.
