Great American Ballpark

June 30th, 2019: Chicago Cubs vs Cincinnati Reds Cubs lost 6-8. Saw a my fair share of homeruns this game. Had some huge helmet nachos and my first ever major league beer. Ballpark was nice and the area surrounding it was very family oriented. Seats were in the shade which was essential on this hot day. Not too shabby for $9 tickets. Gotta love baseball.

Field of Dreams Watched several great players such as: Mark Grace, Jack Morris, Ozzie Smith, Frank Thomas, Reggie Jackson, Tim Raines, etc. As well as the actors from major league including Charlie Sheen. Ozzie could still turn a double play.

Miller Park
August 11th, 2017: Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds. Reds won 11-10. They were up by several runs but the Brewers battled back to stay in the game. Not the first time at the park, but as always it’s a nice one. I like that you’re guaranteed a game with the roof.

US Cellular Field July 24th, 2016: Chicago White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers. Sox won two games on walk off hits. They finished a game in progress in the 9th and Adam Eaton singled in a run for the walk off. The scheduled game for that day ended in a walk off fashion as well when the Sox blew a three run lead in the top of the 9th allowing three solo home runs. The final two home runs were with two strikes. Sox then got a single to knock in the game winning run. Exciting game to the end. Also, my dad and I bought this huge sundae. Didn’t finish it, but the experience was pretty cool. Great ballpark, there was not a bad seat in the house. Could not believe the park is 25 years old already.

O.Co Coliseum July 30th, 2015: Oakland Athletics vs. Cleveland Indians. Indians won. The Coliseum is an older ballpark, and unique because it’s also a football stadium, so that added to the charm. Our seats were the first row close to the A’s bullpen. Not much of a crowd. I thought it had its positives though. You could get close to the game and there weren’t long lines. Small victories for sure, but if you truly want to go to games to watch baseball and not get caught up in promotional activities it’s a good place. No matter the negativity associated with the park, you get to see a MLB game and that’s pretty darn good.

AT&T Park July 29th, 2015: San Francisco Giants vs. Milwaukee Brewers. Giants victory. AT&T is an amazing ballpark full of gorgeous views and great fans. The food there was delicious. Our seats were on the second deck in the second row. From the seats you could see the bay and the game perfectly. It was an easy place to watch the game. Not a single bad seat in the house. Just the right amount of balance of promotions and baseball for me. Absolutely no complaints.

Purpose of My Blog

My dad and I have been going to baseball games for as long as I can remember. Every summer we make a point to visit at least one new ballpark. Since we have and will go to many new parks, I want to document my experiences so that I can hold on to these great memories.
