taeyang was happy that he was able to choose basher for the second coupling ceremony . he wasn’t too worried this time around ; the villa was full of handsome contestants that he would consider himself lucky to be paired with . getting who he wanted was just a perk . “ don’t sound so happy about it . ” he says sarcastically , laying back into the soft embrace of the bed . “ i don’t care about snoring , really . you’re the lucky one here , though , i sleep very , very soundly . you’re welcome . ” tae sticks out his tongue and rests his hands against his chest , pondering how exactly to answer basher’s question . “ um – it was between you and roy . . but since roy just , like , left ? i was stuck with you . ” he hopes that basher can sense the joking tone of his voice . “ you’re very handsome , and i thought that we sort of connected a bit at the bar ? i dunno . . could just be my poor judgement . but i chose you because i wanted to get to know you more . ” he pauses . “ and because i bet sleeping next to you is nice . are you a big spoon or a little spoon ? ”
“ i see , i see , i’m a second choice ! ” the two of them might be unlikely , if someone were to look at this pair from the surface . taeyang was softer than basher , whereas basher stood full of bravado . where they met in the middle , he was desperate to find out . it was easy for basher to bounce off the other , hypothetically , taking all his teasing in stride . “ your poor judgement got you a good night’s sleep . but . . . ” he shrugged , looking down at tae . for a moment , he turned around to grab the one bag he had left unpacked , under the impression that someone would definitely steal his hair products , and fished out a compact hairbrush . “ i don’t blame you . mostly because i felt the same way . ” basher cleared his throat as he mindlessly brushed his hair back and out of his face , then turned to face tae again , the tips of his ears burning red . “ tell me - what do you think i am ? get to know me a little more , tae . you strike me as the big spoon type , but i’m prone to being wrong . ”
