Begging everyone to read @jackwolfes' gorgeous Wesper regency AU jesper fahey's guide to high society and falling in love which inspired this art <3 (you know I've got the brainrot when I voluntarily paint a landscape!!)
If being irritating was an Olympic sport, Jesper would have a gold medal. Once, Kaz—the shop’s owner—had casually informed Wylan that Jesper did not work weekends, should he want a less aggravating browsing experience. Unfortunately, the buses ran more often on weekdays, so that is when he came in. No other reason. ----- Wylan gets snowed in while visiting the bookstore. He and Jesper try to make the best of it.

Wait just a minute here, does the title have anything (anything at all) to do with a Taylor Swift song by any chance?
The title is a lyric from “Stolen” by Dashboard Confessional! Off their album Dusk and Summer (2006). I would guess that the line in “mirrorball” is an intentional reference since it’s so lyrically similar :)
