If you want to tell someone about your faith in God, just tell them your story.

Devotional (Psalm 56)
(Psalm 56) Be merciful to me, my God, for my enemies are in hot pursuit; all day long they press their attack. My adversaries pursue me all day long; in their pride many are attacking me. When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? All day long they twist my words; all their schemes are for my ruin. They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps, hoping to take my life. Because of their wickedness do not let them escape; in your anger, God, bring the nations down. Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll —are they not in your record? Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me. In God, whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise—in God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me? I am under vows to you, my God; I will present my thank offerings to you. For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
“In God We Trust” Those 4 words are everywhere, it’s in the pledge of allegiance, our national anthem and it’s on our money. It’s easy to say, easy to sing about, and easy to read. But it’s not so easy to live. It’s hard to trust God when the doctor says you have a 50 percent chance of survival or when your boss calls you in and says you’re laid off. It’s hard to trust God in those kinds of situations. We place our faith in everything and everyone else but God? God seems to be our last resort.. Turning to friends, family, and experts is not a bad thing, but turning to God is the best thing. David writes this psalm while fearing for his life. Psalm 56:3 says: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you [God].” David kept calm by remembering God was for him (Psalm 56:9), praising God’s goodness, and remembering God’s promises (Psalm 56:3-4, Psalm 56:10-11). Next time we begin to fear, we can follow David and put our trust in God. We can quit looking at how big our problem is and start looking at how big our God is. We need to always remember that God will never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). We should always remember that God promises to take care of us and to work all things for our good and His glory. So we should always put our trust in God.
Is there something in your life that you are having a hard time trusting God with?
What is one step you can take today to remember to look at how big God is, rather than how big your problem is?
Wake up today saying “I trust you Jesus“
