{ The faint mumbling of the name of the holiday that will soon arrive can be heard not once, but several times as she repeats it in a dazed manner. The mere notion of being frightened out of her skin is more than capable of leaving her with an unignorable feeling of dread. Needless to mention, she is not one who has a penchant for observing scenes that are able to be called spooky or grotesque. If she has to, she will even go as far as remaining indoors for the duration of the day. }

"I see…" Staring for a moment, the red-head would pull a notebook with a pen attached to the bindings from the messenger bag he carried to start writing down some information on it. Glancing back up at her, he would rip the page out, dropping the book and pen back into the bag. "So you are her ‘Mio-chan’ from that club of yours. She’s has spoken plenty about you and the rest of your group. That much shouldn’t be too much of a surprise." Yui keeping quiet about friends seemed impossible as far as he was concerned.

His hand would finally extend out to hand her the paper. “This holds the location to the inn I own. If you wish to find Yui at any time, she is staying here with me. I can also give you a job as well if you cannot find one anywhere else. Better get comfortable. You’re stuck here just like the rest of us.”

{ Extremities timidly grasp the lone sheet of paper whilst a subtle nod of her head is permitted to transpire in response to the stated observation. First, the latter, and then the former, of course. One can only image what tidbits of information regarding their life have been released to others by their companion. Hopefully nothing too demeaning has been shared. Not to make it seem as if she is presently under the impression that the particular guitarist does not hold her under a flattering light. The information that is presented to her in his second batch of coherent words solicits yet another nod as she does not genuinely wish to leave it unacknowledged despite her surprise. Nor does she take interest in the notion of refusing to convey her gratitude, which is precisely why she speaks once more. }

❝ Thank you. ❞

{ Perhaps in the near future - after she has acquainted herself with the city a bit more, she will look into the matter of securing a job to maintain while unwillingly residing here. }

{ Unable to help herself, she proceeds to attack what she considers to be the heart of the mater by somewhat hesitantly posing a single query. }

In general, I haven’t been able to do as much online this week as I’ve been meaning to. Although part of it had to do with me getting things in order with my college, there’s another part to it. Since I’m not quite sure when exactly it’s going to be resolved, there is an explanation below the cut.

Pulling back just enough to look into her friend`s eyes she notices the forms of liquid ready to slide down her cheeks. A soft giggle escapes her lips as she holds her dearest friend closer. Even if it hadn`t been long since she was thrown back into Hive City she had dreadfully missed them all. Now if those silly scientists could also give her the rest of her friends, especially her sweet little Azu-nyan.

“It`s good to see you too Mio-chan!” There was so much she wanted to tell her but she had no idea where to start. Moving back a little she grasped Mio`s hands and swung them a bit. “You won`t believe the things I`ve seen here!”

{ Somehow, the statement that has just been released utterly fails to surprise her. Perhaps it has to do with the mere fact that prior to being stolen away to this unfamiliar city, the notion of inquisitive souls transporting inhabitants of various worlds to some fabricated location purely for the sake of advancing scientific knowledge would have effortlessly been labeled as preposterous or absurd by the modest female. Had someone even bothered to mention it to her back then, a questioning smile surely would have slipped across youthful features in the blink of an eye. Then again, the total absence of pure astonishment could very well pertain to the somewhat adventurous nature that her friend has. Regardless, it would clearly be dishonest of her to claim to be uninterested in being informed of the unforgettable adventures that the guitarist has been on. Allowing her coarse extremities to be swung about by those that belong to the other, she speaks so as to offer up a suggestion. }

❝ Should we talk about everything over food? I haven't eaten yet, and we don't have to feel rushed. ❞

{ After spending several minutes or so contemplating the fish that was presented to her upon her sudden arrival - surely an odd means of entertaining her given its type, the musically inclined youth almost instantly found herself resolving to seek out an operating music shop. Although she may not possess the funds to purchase an instrument just yet, nothing seems to be preventing her from at least browsing the selection of merchandise that such a location may have to offer. Of course, this task would not strain her at all had she also been generously provided with a comprehensible map to utilize during her time here - however long or short that may turn out to be. Alas, one still needs to be acquired, which is precisely why the charcoal haired one is presently traversing the streets with the intention of locating some personable individual. Fortunately, it takes very little to no time at all to complete that step of her thrilling yet slightly daunting journey. It would seem that being new - and without her closest friend - leaves her shyer side wanting to make itself known. Somewhat hesitantly making to approach the particular citizen, she speaks up so as to be heard. Politeness becomes her as she bears no genuine desire to accidentally cause offense to be taken. }

From what he recalled from the countless stories he was told, this girl he had found fit the descriptions rather well. The fact that someone from her home was pulled here was more unsettling than he cared for. At least one good thing came out of this, right? Yui was not going to be alone in this city. She had one of her friends here now. … Now which one was this one? Oh well…

"Oiy … Girl … You are new to this city, right? Tell me, do you know a brunette by the name Hirasawa Yui?" He wasn’t going to go into detail of how he knew that girl. He wouldn’t be too sure how to explain that he’s dating her…

{ Although reasonably surprised by the unexpected approach of the man, a chin subtly dips toward the chilled cement that slumbers underfoot ever so slightly so as to wordlessly offer up confirmation in response to the initial query. Perhaps others have been abducted during her first day here, which would clearly mean that it would be a total lie to state that she is the newest person to set foot upon this land, but she can say for certain that she still has yet to familiarize herself with the ways of this city as well as its inhabitants. }

❝ She's my friend. We go to the same school, and we're members of the same club. ❞

{ Or rather, that used to be the case given the fact that they no longer attend that place of education due to this sudden kidnapping. }

Once again she had found herself in an unknown area or it could have been because she simply forgotten what was familiar and what wasn`t. Her memory after all, wasn`t the best. A soft sigh escaped her lips before she sat down on one of the many benches. If things kept up like this she might have to get Sasori to find her again. The thought of that didn`t settle nicely in the pit of her stomach.

Just when she was going to pull her cell phone out a voice called her name out. Turning to the person who tapped her shoulder she practically jumped up. Her mouth gaped opened wide, arms tossing themselves around the darker haired girl.

“Mio-chan!”

Relief floods through her veins upon small limbs wrapping around her form in a comfortable embrace. Not only due to not having mistaken an absolutely unfamiliar individual for one of her good friends, but due to a recognizable face actually being here as well. Now, the thought of residing here seems to be less daunting. Pure happiness begins to blend in with the calm that is soothing her nerves as miniature droplets of transparent liquid start to form at the corners of discernible notes that exhibit a darkened shade of blue. Although they cannot be fought off given her own arms being captured at the moment, she attempts to prevent her voice from shaking too much. Of course, the task effortlessly proves itself to be challenging.

{ Concerned.

There is no other word that is more suitable to describe the typically composed bassist at the moment, and it is only natural for her to feel this way given the indisputably unnatural event that has just recently transpired in her life. Being stolen away from the comfort of one's own home and abruptly placed in an entirely unfamiliar place is an experience that most do not even have to consider enduring. While unsettling tales of kidnappings have certainly reached her attentive ears before, it does not take the judgement of a genius to soundly conclude that this is something completely different. There are numerous queries swimming around inside of her head, and she is unable to match any of them with legitimate answers without requesting for another to assist her in accomplishing the task. As it is quite a bit to contemplate whilst in motion, she has lowered herself onto a public bench. Surely this will enable her to ruminate properly as opposed to do so whilst worrying about adventitiously - and literally - bumping into someone. Hopefully some congenial soul will even come along and generously offer to lend an ear. }

{ Unable to keep from fretting over her current predicament, the musically inclined youth soon comes extremely close to pressing her backside against an eggshell painted wall while observing the contrasting citizens - the unique participants of this bizarre experiment that she has involuntarily become involved in. Visible digits cling to the drawstrings that rightfully belong to the hoodie that she currently dons whilst genuine concern lodges itself inside of notes of murky blue. If only she can come across someone who may be kind enough to assist her in learning about - becoming informed of - this enormous place. }

{ A brief flash of chocolate locks quickly retrieves the patently bewildered teenager from the inner workings of her active mind as they bear a rather haunting air of familiarity. Is it possible that she has somehow found herself being unexpectedly transported along with her dear friends to some foreign land? Perhaps, but it is impossible to be absolutely certain of that without proceeding to approach the short haired individual who has just rushed on by. Fortunately, a substantial amount of distance has not been placed between them just yet. It would appear as if the frantic female in question has resolved to take a moment to unwind on one of the countless benches that occupy the bustling city. With noticeable hesitance in her step, the presently uncertain one draws near the seated figure and allows nimble digits to steadily stretch out. Four seek refuge in an exposed palm whilst the fifth gently taps the right shoulder of the nameless girl. }
