I think putting things on your wall that don't quite belong there is really good Actually. I have a popsicle stick that has a joke on it I got last July with my best friend and it makes me happy. I've got a bell on a string and more than on bookmark taped up.

Fuck it ya know? Spice up your room, put shit on the walls. Who gives a fuck? Put shit on your ceiling while you're at it. Life is a ridiculous thing, make the space you exist in a place that makes you smile. Interior design doesn't mean shit if you don't look around and thing "yeah this is a good place. This is my home."

I made this post a little over a year ago and the fact that people are still regularly rbing it makes me so happy. I love that we all share that sentiment about just owning the space we get to take up and making it a little reflection of yourselves. I'm sure you guys have really cool walls <3
