my only consolation in this shithole of an ending is the knowledge that bronn is going to bankrupt the realm in five hot minutes, leading to a peasant uprising that destroys all of them and should they survive, drogon still lives to burn them all down whenever he’s feeling playful.

jon stabbing dany in the stomach while kissing her is the single most disgusting thing this show has ever done. d&d can burn in hell.

fr tho dany went and sacrificed her dragons and her life to help defeat the white walkers, she killed king snake varys, she killed child abuser randyll tarly, she killed cersei, she did all these peoples dirty work so that they could be left with a clean slate and no one can spare a second to recognize that dany’s efforts, and yes even her cruelty, is the reason they’re able to spare themselves the dirty work of getting rid of everyone bad.

i’m not saying that burning down king’s landing was a good thing, or necessary to their cause, but it sure is upsetting to see everyone forget that without daenerys targaryen, they would have had to make the hard decisions they derided her for.

Amidst all the salt directed at the disappointing ending to what started out as a great show, I do wanna take a second to shout out the actors for their amazing work, the cinematographers for serving some truly gorgeous views, Ramin Djawadi for the perfect music, and all the rest of the crew for all their hard work.

It’s not their fault they were given subpar material to work with, but they’ve definitely done their best with it!
