Final Review of 12 Weeks of Drawing | Art Journey 2023
Week 12 Drawing Everyday People | Art Journey 2023
Hello people 🤗💕 It's Friday sketchbook dump day. I really enjoyed drawing the heads this week using @earthsworld amazing photos for reference. I wish I had spent more time on them! I need to work on some longer drawings with multiple sittings, but I'll get into that later. I will work on the video review of the drawings from this week and aim to have it ready on Monday as usual. After that, I'm going to change things up again now that I reached week 12! I hope you've all had a great week and I look forward to seeing your own sketches and progress. Let's keep improving our skills in 2023! #keepdrawing
Lot's of hits and misses this week! It will be interesting to do my review and see what when right and what went wrong while trying to create that something extra in a drawing. That elusive mood or atmosphere!
Week 10 Value Drawing
And this one brings us up to date!
I've been experimenting with using only 2 values in my head drawings and it's been quite the journey! Some turned out great, some not so much. But that's all a part of the learning process right?
Can't wait to share my experience and critique in a video coming up on Monday. In the meantime, check out these 5 drawings and let me know which one is your favorite!
Happy Friday, friends! 😊
🎨 Today's #fridaydump is all about playing with hairstyles and experimenting with different looks.
I love how a simple change in hair can completely transform a portrait. It's amazing how something as small as hair can make such a big impact on the overall drawing.
Check out these 5 head sketches, each with a different hairstyle from the reference, and let me know which one is your favorite in the comments! 😊💕

Hello everyone! I hope you are all still having fun or taking it easy over the holidays. If you have to work then 😊 👍👍 for you, you're a champion! I mean that sincerely if that doesn't come across.
Anyway, I'm working through making some goals for this year and I hope to fill it with lots of interesting drawings, paintings and other content! Are you making any goals for this year? I haven't made any for a long time and I realized that I didn't have anything to show for the year as actual progress which was disappointing, so I'm going to give this goal setting thing another go. How about you?
This drawing is from week 8 day 4. Week 8 was anything goes.
