Do you ever just *clenches fist* love Bastille so fucking much
Listen I know that it’s the 2018-way to immediately compare every single American government corruption to the Nazis but uh, you actually don’t need to do an international comparison when trying to show the horrors of separating children from their families and putting them in “camps”.
Turns out America did that too:
(The above are pictures from Japanese Internment Camps in WWII, located right here in America. More info on the subject: x )
In fact, they did it more than once:
(The above are pictures of German-Americans who were also detained in American states. More info: x )
In fact, they did it a lot:
(The above are photos from the American Native-American “boarding schools” which separated Native American children from their families so that they could be brainwashed into embracing the white “Christian” American way. More info: x )
So when you see these appalling images in the news:
don’t start comparing America to WWII Germany.
Start comparing America to America.
Because we’ve always done this and, as long as we can get away with it, we always will.

if you use music to cope with anxiety, depression or to help with your ADHD (like me) reblog, I'm trying to prove a point to my teacher
You're the anchor that I tie to my brain // ANCHOR // (if you can't tell already this is kinda my new thing)
Do you ever listen to your favorite band and just get all teared up not because its a sad song but because you just love the band so much
Flower through disarray?
IF ME CALLING YOU DUDE OR GURL CAUSES YOU TO HAVE DYSPHORIA YOU SHOULD tell me because you being comfortable is so much more important than some stupid slang
or when if i call you “man” because i know i do that a lot. please tell me if it causes dysphoria or just makes you upset in general. because i will stop because i love you.
I use those as gender neutral and don’t mean it in a gender way at all but if you don’t like it tell me and I will try to stop (no promises because I usually forget things so I might need reminded a few times)
this also applies to “guurrrrrl”
also mate, buddy, bro, literally anything I use, I generally use them gender neutral but if they make you uncomfortable PLEASE TELL ME
I tend to use darling, sweetheart, and hon as gender neutral and platonic phrases so if that makes you uncomfortable give me a heads up
If I call you queen or like mom/daddy ad a joke and it bothers you even slightly let me know. it’s really no problem I can stop
