Joe and his friends’ lives were changed when they discovered that they’re shape-shifting nature spirits called Chimera
Corkindale becomes a mentor to Joe and his friends who just became chimeras
Corkindale trains Joe and his friends to use their newfound powers to fight evil chimeras and defend chimeras who don’t fend for themselves
Phoebe’s main form is a fox
Charlotte’s main form is a cat
Paulo’s main form is a grizzly bear
Fletcher’s main form is a snake
Sean’s main form is a golden retriever
Devourers are enchanters and enchantresses who worship and respect the nature titan, Gaia
Ralabast is a Chimera who exists in Greek mythology, but it turns out that he’s real
Chimeras were tasked by Gaia to protect the environment, so nature could thrive peacefully. Then the world began to modernize, chimeras were being hunted down by soldiers, ended up being enslaved, trained in the most brutal ways of combat, sent to war against defenseless countries, got into conflict with other chimeras, and almost hunted down to extinction
The Order of the White Wolf use weapons like swords, crossbows, bows, battle axes, maces, single or double-bladed spears, mechanical shields with wolf faces that can bite down their enemies, medieval-esque flamethrowers that bear a resemblance to wolves, medieval-esque guns that bear resemblance to wolves, double or triple crossbows, and medieval-esque modern-day weapons
C.R.A.V.E.N. is an evil government/military organization that studies, trains, experiments on, tracks down, and hunts down creatures from folklore and mythology that actually exists in real-life
Sean’s older brother, Conner’s main form is a German Shepherd because German Shepherds do serve as military dogs
