ok I know it makes sense for TV adaptations to have Watson and Holmes move in together and immediately go on their first STUD case but I'd love to see one where we get to SEE nosy bitch John Hamish develop a little boycrush on his odd mysterious cool new roommate who kicks him out of their sitting room to see weird assortments of people that can't possibly be his friends....why's he so secretive anyway? have him listen at the door. "should I ask him about it?" *blushes* "no I shant...it would be so inappropriate...and yet." let us see him take notes about Sherlock before he even thinks about writing any of it down for public consumption (I mean. he does this.). give me a compilation of weeks of twirling his hair kicking his feet etc. being so unsubtle about his interest until Holmes is like OK I GUESS I cannot withstand your boyish charm swagless aura and puppy doe eyes
