I really love the idea of Damian doubling over with a cry and blood gushing from his ear, and all of it being witnessed from Bruce’s POV. Because he told Clark he needed to train Kon/Jon and Clark did, but the mistakes are so much more grave when you have superpowers. And your human allies are flesh and bone.

And Bruce goes to yell at Clark and Clark is ashen. And says, quietly, it must have just been a mistake, it's never happened before. And Bruce just smiles, strained. Because it's not the first time a rough grip or a slightly miscalculated grab during a mission has caused injuries. But it was always him before now -- not his kids. He can take the fractured arm or the whiplash. Not Damian.

I love this concept, especially because how much time the bats spend around superpowered individuals that theres no way their friends dont just...forget, every once in a while. Not just on missions either, but smaller more every-day mistakes. Jon pats Damian just a little too hard while playing tag, and it leaves an ugly mottling bruise across his shoulder blades. Wally passes a heavy object to Dick and doesnt wait for him to adjust his stance or get a grip, just drops it into his hold, the weight sudden enough to tear a muscle. Kon, holding Tim in a hover, lets him go from just a tad too high, so used to him being able to make the landing. He does make the landing, but he hurts an ankle in the process, and its nothing really, no big deal, except next time he's in Kon's hold he doesnt relax into it, because that small factor of trust is no longer there and now he needs to do the math himself.

Because its one thing to forget during a mission, when the bruises add up anyway. But its so simple to forget once the suits have been put away, that these people who fight beside you and take hits and survive are so breakable under your own grip
