hahaha yes, it’s honestly hard for me to read cafe AUs now 😭 I can always tell when someone has never worked in a cafe before and it really takes me out of the story lol. I can’t even write a cafe AU anymore because I start to feel like I’m at work and that’s no fun 💀

the cafe’s not too bad though!! I’m a little overwhelmed at the moment, but we have an awesome team and I’m trying to learn to delegate better so I’m not doing a million things all the time haha.

“favorite line/scene you wrote this year”

Ahhh this was a hard decision! Most of my favorite lines and scenes I wrote in 2025 haven’t been posted yet lol. They just live in my word docs and torment me.

This is actually from a tomarrymort idea I’ve been working on that was inspired by Lost and Found. It’s nowhere close to finished but I’m obsessed with it and whenever I get writer’s block on my other WIPs I come and work on this on lol 🥲 It’s an alternate ending where Voldemort finds out Harry is a horcrux and instead of killing him in the final battle, he takes him captive and uses Legilemency to torment him. Harry is trapped inside his own mind with the horcrux and finds refuge with him.

I hope to share it sometime this year! I haven’t written much harrymort so it’s definitely a challenge working with all three characters as opposed to just Harry & Tom. But it makes for a much darker love story with so much potential for angst that I’ve been really drawn to it lol 😭
