we need more women to make ugly art that nobody likes. and i mean this very genuinely. make it look bad make it unpleasant make it asymmetrical make it gross add things you are uncomfortable with.

i want terrible colors and values. i want shaky lines. i want patchy paintings. i want unflattering portraits. i want art that makes what is beautiful look disgusting, i want patterns that fall apart with inconsistency, i want art that looks like you were born yesterday and have never taken an art class in your life and i want to make it and be proud of it and know that i did it intentionally.
