At the start of her tutelage under Sasaki Haise, Tem was attentive. She was never a great student, though, and this would eventually catch up to her in jujutsu high, when she started to slack on any of the more...technical aspects of school.
Her classmates were Urie Kuki, Yonebayashi Saiko, and Shirazu Ginshi. Saiko was the laziest of the group, opting to game rather than train, and though Tem was determined to get stronger, she couldn't help but be drawn into extended gaming sessions with her classmate and oversleeping, leading to strong scolding of both of them by Haise.
Shirazu was her delinquent counterpart, and the two were loud and rambunctious together during both training and exorcisms. They rarely fought with each other and were usually on the same side of arguments again their classmate Urie instead.
Urie is the hardass of the group. He follows rules to a T and has no interest in working in teams, striving to rank up as soon as possible to take solo missions. He often butts heads with Shirazu and Tem, but Shirazu is much more apt to get played by Urie's ill-mannered "helpful advice," which leads to the rare occasions that Tem and Shirazu argue (with Tem calling him a moron for listening to Urie, of all people).
Despite this, Urie actually develops a decent bond with Saiko and Shirazu, which is especially showcased when Shirazu is killed in the middle of an exorcism, leading to a brief breakdown in Urie and Haise both.
From there on, Urie seems slightly more receptive to teamwork, and his relationship with the other members, especially Saiko. A new student joins them, Higemaru Touma, who idolizes Urie but seems lacking in skills of his own.
Tem and Urie still clash constantly, and him ranking above her is forever a point of contention for her (and joy for him). Even after graduation, the two seem unable to set aside their grudges, though it's worth noting that when they have to work together, they're a formidable team.
