Go to war with your demons

Each day is a struggle for some people it is a constant battle. For me it was with alcohol not in the sense I wasnt dependent upon on it but the stupid shit I would do when I would drink. After a few encounters with the law I decided I was better off giving up drinking for good than to continue going out on the thirsty Thursdays or the weekends. I have gone sober before it lasted 8 months and I thought I had my life under control and went out and had a beer and it kinda snowballed from there a lot of ups and downs. I got in some trouble again and decided I was going to take control of my life and stop doing the stupid shit I had been doing for the first half of my 20s (I'm 26 now). So this is kinda going to be the journey of me starting a sober life....again. So far this has been a blessing I have became more focused on goals and dreams I have had for years such as starting a business and creating new opportunities for myself and helping others. It's amazing how much free time you have when you don't spend all night at the bar and hungover all morning the next day. I have stopped making excuses as to why I can't go after the things I want and realized I can accomplish whatever I want as long as I do the fucking work to get me there everyday. That's why we must go to war with our demons everyday. Fight those negative thoughts in the back of our heads that say we can't do this and shouldn't try that. I'm a shitty writer I know that but I'm here writing a blog idc if not a sole reads it but I feel better after I type it up and in hopes maybe it might help one person out there. So if it does help you out I'm glad to take you on this journey with me. Everyday is a battle to get one step closer to where I want to go in life and hopefully help more people. There won't be any everyone's a winner post either cause I don't believe that shit. It's going to be raw and honest so if you're easily offended suck it up and move on the world is a tough place and only the strong survive.
