I have been all out of sorts for the past few months however YOUR BELOVED KING HAS RETURNED!

Ciarog lets out a hacking cough, and then another, and by the time that's finished, they need to catch their breath. They look miserable.

"And I got possessed by Adam's widow, so that's fun."

He is staring bewilderingly at Ciarog

Ciarog just lays down on their bed, still tired, miserable, and ill. They aren't surprised in the slightest by Charon's reaction, though they do raise an eyebrow when Charon says 'shapeshift', and so they explain further.

"Hy can't shapeshift, Charon, apparently hys god did that to hym. Something about the transformation being incomplete? It's not really my business. What is my business is that apparently Scian turning into that was bad news, and she doesn't have a physical body, so she possessed me because I have physical matter and can, therefore, hit somebody. She did not take my various illnesses, weakness, or hatred of being puppeted into account, though, so that backfired spectacularly. Anyway, I'm mostly ok now."

Once their rant is over, they seem.. a bit more at peace. It seems they just needed someone to talk to.

"And you're welcome, Charon. Besides, your loyal subjects have grown on me, so I've gotten into the habit of feeding them at the same time I feed my other invertebrates."

He stared skeptically for a moment at them

Hmm… WELL YOU HAVE NO NEED TO TAKE CARE OF THEM ANYMORE! Since their… wonderful king has returned to them I’m sure that they will be overjoyed to see it!

He stretched out in his bed before standing up with a pose of the absolute gremlin he is

And I’m sure all the others will be absolutely overjoyed at the return of the king they admire so greatly! Goodbye my friend! I must inform the masses that KING CHARON HAS RETURNED! YAYY!!!

He likes to talk all fancy when referring to himself as a king it’s silly and adorable and goober

<A horrid dark mossy substance spills from the open dry wounds clawed along the corpse, staining the grass below.>

<Hovered over The Corpse is a woman of the Earth. Dirticia stares silently at The Corpse, her hands cover where her mouth should be. Shock and terror spread over both the flesh of The Corpse and Daughter of Nature's face.>
