Sora make this :) Morpheus and Nuala
About Morpheus and Nuala
I genuinely think it's time people start recognizing how much Morpheus did and said to Nuala.
Morpheus' last visit was not Thessaly or Calliope or Titania, he actively chose to visit Nuala last. (A boon could have been left unanswered if he desired. He is more powerful than her by any means, he could've left. He didn't. Very much so on purpose.)
I am exhausted from ranting about Nuala being perpetually overlooked in every conversation that includes Dream's partners. Their relationship is so fucking complicated, and out of all the women Morpheus spends time in the comic, he spends the most with her. And yes, their tension will forever remain unresolved, but that is the whole point.
Right person, wrong time.
Most people will catch onto the panel I have attached above to argue against my point. That is okay, as a friend says: "Keep to what is on the page". However, in literature, it is rarely only what is on the page. It's a disservice to the concept of media literacy for us to not dig behind the words.
I've annotated every conversation Morpheus and Nuala have, every moment they talk about each other, from SOM to The Wake. Neil has weaved direct "Pride and Prejudice" callouts. Nuala's mythological origin and Morpheus' perpetual state of being a liar to those who care for him.
One of the most romantic things Morpheus does is save Calliope, however, in the comic, he is not NEARLY as kind to her as he is in the show. Meanwhile, on those same pages, Morpheus actively acknowledges Nuala's needs and tends to them, even if she is too self-conscious to see them and he is too proud to acknowledge them.
But even then, one can pull out the panel from above and say: "But Morpheus here is saying it plain and simple." And to that, I say - if after 9 volumes, you think the collective manifestation of all subconscious did not see someone being in love with him?! Someone who lived in his immediate vicinity? Please, he is far too smart for that. He didn't like it, because Morpheus as I have said many many times, cannot stomach good people because he is too self-destructive not feel like he will hinder those around him.
It was always better to lie to Nuala because he knew he was dying anyway. He couldn't fend off his realm, because he didn't want to. He wanted it to end.
And the last woman he saw before he went was Nuala.

Ohh to be under the watchful eye of the honored one...
A Japanese fan of JJK pointed out [HERE] how the pattern in Gojo's eyes is very similar to the pattern of the glass panel in episode 1 of season 2, the one Utahime is standing before.
This is interesting because the glass panel was given significant screen time to be shown and focus was put on it.
And in Episode 2, Gojo himself talks about his technique and how difficult it is to cause massive destruction whilst also taking into consideration the vector around him (objects, people).
This explanation is accompanied by the vision of Utahime running through the mansion as its falling apart, indicating how Gojo destroyed it but also went through the difficult task of ensuring Utahime is completely uninjured.
Utahime is also seen to be in the center of the destruction, under the very same glass panel.
The glass panel feels like an eerie but beautiful metaphor towards Gojo who basically plays God (the honoured one) in JJK verse, capable of watching everything around him..👏😮
The pattern (a chrysanthemum motif) used here is called kikuka-monsho and is of much significance in the history of Japan. It was commonly used by the imperial family and nobility.
Personally, i think this was a very intentional touch by MAPPA and ofc Gege since he's involved in the creative process of the anime..🤔
it’s them your honor
