Here is the first chapter for dreamers —
something that was born within me yesterday… something new.
A theory I gave space to, so it could keep dreaming and unfolding...
dream — not to escape reality,
that reality so often forgets to offer.
"Lord of Dreams, your time has come. Will you accept your fate?"
one of the witches asked.
He didn’t know what he was searching for. But something...
something at the twilight of his eternity trembled in his heart.
And for the first time – in all his endless existence –
he allowed himself to dream.
For others, it was only seconds.
But for him? An eternity.
He saw everything he had ever experienced. Yet he looked at it anew,
as if living it for the first time.
Every moment, even the most painful one, was lit up with gratitude.
And from his heart, a light burst forth –
Death noticed. And her eternally serene face wavered.
Her brother… was shining.
No longer in the black cloak of melancholy –
but in a snow-white robe of peace.
His face was full of life. And his presence… was calm.
And when Death looked at the Kindly Ones,
Dream stood up and opened his eyes.
There was no pain in them anymore, no doubt.
The youngest of the Kindly Ones smiled.
"Dream must die. These tricks don’t work on us."
Dream laughed. Heartily. Humanly.
The part of me that didn’t know it could dream… is gone.
The part that feared feeling, humility, love…"
"Death came not for my body – but for my old self.
And because of that, I can be born anew… as the one I was always meant to be."
"Kindly Ones, your mission is complete.
The original Dream is no more.
Daniel may return to the world with his mother.
And when he is ready – when his heart calls –
the path back will open for him.
Today is a new beginning."
