Colten is a second-generation professional wrestler, being the son of professional wrestler, Billy Gunn. He is one half of the Gunn's and one-fourth member of Bullet Club Gold. He always wanted to be a wrestler but his parents made him go to college first. While he was in college he worked as a construction worker but after graduation he quiet and begin to train to wrestle.

He was born with his father's quick wit and temper but those closest to him know he's a loyal friend.
