Thoughts on smokes face reveal? Was it close to what you imagined?

(For a second, I thought you meant the Tom Hardy one, anon, but then I had the good sense to scroll down a bit to the actual reveal 😂)

As for your question - no, absolutely not. Nowhere near what I'd imagined ...but that's because I honestly don't really think about the unmasked operators' faces, so any vaguely human face would've been as far away from the amorphous blob in my mind as this one :)

That said, I do like it a ton. There's many details that speak to me: the dorky ears, the stubble (100% on brand), its overall shifty quality (he looks like he'd steal stuff from your fridge while you're not looking), the scars (they might be burn scars from when he rescued his daughter, that'd be hella neat), the piercing gaze. To me, it's a very very interesting face in the most positive sense and I think @sun-stark did a tremendous job with the concept art!! 💕

(Also I think it makes him look like a kinda guy who'd be really disarming when he wants to. Painful sincerity would suit him extremely well.)

I always thought people punching through doors or shoving people through doors was just from the movies. Doors in my country are generally solid planks of wood, a polymer of sorts, or metal.

American homes are made extremely cheaply and aren’t built to last.

Steam from hot showers seeps into wall which are not treated to handle moisture, and mold grows in the walls.

Almost every wall or floor is made out of plywood.

Flimsy roofing that can withstand a run of the mill heavy storm, but not much more than that.

Weak foundations that wouldn’t hold up at all if it weren’t for how light and plywood-y the overall house is.

Not every American house is this shitty in all of these ways, but the vast majority of them are, and almost all of them have at least one of these problems. Even rich people’s homes.
