Hello!!!! I have news :D

A couple of weeks ago I joined a game jam group for the Game Maker's Tool Kit 2026 or GMTK 2026 to create a game within 4 days with these new friends. The sorted theme for the game jam was "countdown" so we started brainstorming, sketching and coding to do the best we could until the deadline! What came out of all this was Hound and Seek, a Godot game for browsers, made using only pixel art where I participated helping with the pixel art illustrations and concept art.

In Hound and Seek, you play as Dora, a scrawny kid that doesn't have many friends in a small town, out in the middle of nowhere. After being the loser yet again at hide and seek, she is dared to go into the weird, abandoned house in the outskirts of town as a punishment, in which unsettling rumors are told about the unspeakable things that happened there. Now, Dora will have to use her abilities to explore the abandoned house, and survive the hardest hide and seek game of her live, against a creature of her deepest nightmares.

Happy birthday, Paulie! ❤️ I did this little illustration while feeling inspired by the songs from The Boys of Dungeon Lane (again!!) It's supposed to be about Paul remembering things from the past that aren't happy and finding a new meaning to them while writing. I hope our Macca has a great day today :-) He's a really special person. Love you, Paul!

I drew this while feeling inspired by the atmosphere from Paul's The Boys of Dungeon Lane album! the photo in the background is a picture I took some time ago this year. The songs in this album make me travel to a specific gloomy, stormy place with old buildings in Liverpool.. Congrats on succeeding at creating an album atmosphere, Paul :-)
