Just a little headcanon of mine:

I found out that Kalim is about 9 months and 13 days younger than Jamil, and I made my own headcanon that when Jamil was born, Mama Asim would help care for him while Mama Viper recovered from the birth and it gave her such extreme baby fever that she wanted to have one of her own.

Then I also got the hc of Kalim being born a bit premature. For no specific reason I can just kinda see it being possible.

Mama Viper and Mama Asim are also close in a way, I imagine them being almost like the older more mature female versions of Jamil and Kalim. But Kalim has more of his dad's personality.

First Meeting

Jamil (5) and Najma (3) were playing in the Asim gardens while waiting for their parents to finish working. Kalim (Just turned 5) had just woken up from a kidnapping that had left him beaten and comatose for a few days. Kalim was still weak from the medication and his injuries, so Jamil's first impressions of him were not...great.

But Jamil offered to teach Kalim how to throw a ball next time when Kalim's injuries were healed. The young Asim for the first time in his life felt excited for something.

Hmm, Honestly the best tip I can give is to study the design concepts of TWST. And make your own spin on it!

I like going through the TWSTAssets folders and analyzing how they draw and design the characters in their 2d sprites and then replicate that for my own ocs!

Im super curious about mama asim being visibly older than papa asim and if that has anything to do with her magic

They're both around the same age, Mama Asim might just look a bit older because of the white hair- which is my bad xD

But I do also like to think the white hair is related to her magic, which is why Kalim looks so much like her and also is the only one of his siblings who has magic, as well as Kalim's daughter in the future.

Pokémon Evolutions 😭

Mama Asim's genes are very strong. Papa Asim and Ami's genes didnt even try.

Mama doesnt have a name yet but daughter is named, Yasmin bint Kalim Al-Asim.

Both are twisted off of the Lamp but in different contexts.

Mama and Papa Asim

Mama and Papa Asim based on my own personal headcanons and from what has been told about them in the game.

Mama Asim is the only other person in the Asim family that can use Magic, so her being the lamp makes sense to me. And the Cave exists because of magic but I wouldnt say it itself *IS* magic, but ifs powerful because of all the forbidden treasures within it.

I wanted to draw Baby Kalim before he met Jamil I imagine, I dunno I like to think because Jamil was his first ever real friend and someone his age, he sort of latched onto him. But before that due to poisoning and kidnappings ever since he was born he was mute and didnt show much emotion. All based on my own headcanon of course.

All of Kalim's siblings are other treasures within the Cave of Wonders.

Character: Fran in short is a stubborn, strong willed person. She comes off as fierce to most people and not very trusting of others. Though to those she grows close too she adores. Background: Fran is part diurnal fae because of her mother. For her early life she lived in a town that on the boarders of the sunshine lands and Shaftlands that had been some what secluded from the big city it neighbored. Though later in her tween years she had to be moved to the city due to the damage sustained to the town, caused by a “mysterious” disaster. In the city she lived with her uncle until she was accepted into Noctis Fleur Academy
