I made my partner a necklace from a seashell I polished at the beach. all polishing and hole drilling was done by hand with rocks and other beach crap. There's something beautiful about knowing that my ancient ancestors might've once also meticulously polished a seashell to present as a gift I think. 10/10 experience I highly recommend
