I’ve been rewatching the final chapters of DBZ Kai and saw this on GLD and had to pick it up! I’ve been getting into wearing bracelets again and have been looking for charms and pendants lately. This is white gold plated, so this won’t tarnish like most of the other cheap jewelry I wear. Also, just a quick update: finally closed the new house and the moving in process has begun! I’m a big Godzilla fan, but there aren’t a lot of small collectibles around here... I found these online and really liked them, but the only problem was that they had an EXTREMELY limited release! These were given out at a movie theater for the most recent Godzilla movie, but were only made available at a theater in Brisbane. These figures are really well done, so I figured that these would be a promo for a future line of blind box figures, but that never happened. It baffles me that a company would put this much time and effort into making figures just to only make them available in one specific city... it’s possible that they will be mass produced at a later date, but I feel like they would have done it by now if that were the case. Just discovered this today and I’m very pleased with it. I’ve expressed my appreciation for the Grandista figures in a video I did about the Vegeta Grandista that I have, but I’ve only really ever seen Dragon Ball figures of this quality, so I was really surprised to see Mega Man! Grandista has made some of the best quality figures and statues I’ve ever seen, but unfortunately, Mega Man is an incredibly simplistic looking character, so it’s challenging to put detail into a character like that, which is probably why he’s not often seen in the high end collectibles market. Even though he’s very basic looking, Banpresto really took every opportunity they could to add subtle nuances of detail to the figure without making it look overdone, as shown in the close up pictures. I’m a big Mega Man fan, but like I said, there really aren’t many high end collectibles for the series, so I really hope they do more characters from the franchise just like they did for Dragon Ball. I’ve been getting really into the D-Stages lately... I recently discovered them and I’m not sure if many other people know about them, so I thought I’d spread the word! This is exactly what I like for figure collecting. Not only stationary figures, but dioramas that show some action poses. I especially like these because they have more than one way to display them because they have a 360 display. The Pooh diorama, for example, has a completely different scene on the back side that I actually like better than the front. I’m not sure how long these have been around, but I saw one from Iron Man 3, so I’m guessing a while. There are also some preorders for the upcoming sets, so I’m excited to see what else they do! Not all of them are great btw, I’ve seen a few with some pretty crappy designs, but the Disney ones seem to all be the better ones with more of a diorama. These remind me of the Formation Arts figures that I used to love and now I wanna go back and collect those too! People are charging crazy prices for these online, but they retail somewhere between $20 and $30 depending on where you go, which I think is pretty reasonable. Everyone knows I’m a big fan of Dragon Ball figures, but every once in a while some show up that truly are impressive. So far, the two types that have been most impressive are the World Colosseum figures and The Grandista figures. Now, I’ve come across the Masterlise figures and I’d say there on par with the other two. Considering that these figures only retail for about $40, it’s quite amazing the amount of detail they get into these figures. Both the sculpt and the paint job on these are immaculate. You can even see the detail all the way down to the fingernails on Goku. I was actually lucky enough to capitalize on one of the @boxlunchgifts sales, so I ended up getting these figures for about $20 each, which is beyond amazing! Since the quarantine started, I’ve actually gotten really into collecting classic Nintendo games. I only collect complete in box because I think the box holds most of the value. I’ve never purchased any of them graded though because I plan to get them graded myself. This is the one exception, but I also feel like I overpaid for this a little. I paid about $300 and it’s and 8.0, so we’ll see if it ends up being worth it. Surprisingly, this was the hardest game to find in the TMNT franchise. There are a lot of fakes out there and I’m constantly worried about buying one, so that why I made the exception to buy it graded. I’ve been having some computer troubles lately, so I’ve decided to focus more on making post on here to show off what I’ve been collecting lately! Today’s addition is a Pokémon Gallery figure, my favorite, Rowlet. I really like the idea and concept of these figures, but haven’t bought any before because I think they are WAY overpriced. As you can tell from the picture, the figure is actually quite small, but they put it in an extremely oversized box. Why? Who knows... doesn’t make much sense to me. The quality on these are decent, but nothing spectacular. Pretty much the same as any Pokémon figure but with an increased price. I do like the fact that these figures are all in action poses and doing signature moves, but in my opinion, still not worth full retail price. In stores, these retail for a little under $20 depending on where you go. The only reason I picked this one up was because someone was selling it on eBay for $10, which I think that’s what the retail price SHOULD be... Just picked this up from Box Lunch! I’ve been waiting for a Blue-eyes POP for years! I usually don’t do the t-shirt combos, but the Pop in the combo had an exclusive sticker on it which definitely ups the value. As far as I can tell, there is no difference between this version and the regular version, but I’d still rather have it with the sticker 🤷🏼‍♂️ Also, my favorite character for Yu-Gi-Oh was the Blue-eyes Toon Dragon and the shirt design vaguely resembles that, so I’m pretty excited to sport that around! The only downside to getting this box was that the Pop had some damage on the corner, which sucks because I thought it’d be protected in there, but it’s not too horrible. I must say though, the paint job on this figure is ROUGH. The colors are all over the place, the paint doesn’t stay in the lines and there are random paint drops on the figure. Isn’t this the most adorable T-800 you’ve ever seen?? It even comes with a little skull to stand on! Made by Mega Construx, which I’m a really big fan of because they did the tmnt figure years back. I’m so psyched they’re branching out to other franchises because those turtle figures were amazing! I still have mine on display!
