I'll try to be back tomorrow! I'm not feeling super well so I basically only have strength for one blog (Though at the same time I totally need more threads in this one, because having more things to do often gives me the energies to reply more - it sucks that time-zones are a mess especially in this dash, almost all my mutuals are super far?) and my wifi is terrible at my grandpa where I spend all my evenings and I have a bit more time to write, but I'll attempt to get drafts done and also mooore threads and more plotting, yes

Clarke: this is Murphy’s fault
headcanon: Clarke has a lovely singing voice and can play the guitar, but because it’s something she did with her father every now and then, it’s hard to catch her singing and playing at the same time (she’d also need to find a guitar on the ground or the closest thing to it). However she can be caught humming during calmer times, and might even join in with singing if someone else is doing it.

She smiled, but it was just to humor him, too concerned about his injures. “Let me see,” she asked him, hands gentle as they turned his face, “Do you want to tell me what happened?” It couldn’t be good, no matter who he had picked a fight with. Sometimes she thinks maybe Murphy had a point, ditching them to go on adventures with Jaha. “Do you want me to send you to the fun one, Bryan, or can you help me take the crates off the rover?” Clarke asks, the words lacking real animosity. “And leave Britney alone. She recovered.”
“She recovered, sure, but that’s got nothing to do with whether or not she could be used as a musical torture device to some stuck-up music snob,” Bryan pointed out with a small smile. He grabbed a crate off the back of the truck. “You wanna talk about it? Or just hit something….”
“Are you a music snob?” A pause and Clarke felt a spark of malicious interest: “Is Bellamy a music snob?” She was probably not going to sing Baby, Hit Me One More Time to either men, probably, but it could come on handy. Or maybe she was spending too much time with Murphy at the mansion. But then Bryan asked her that question and Clarke bit her lip, grabbing another crate with supplies. She could tell him. Just because it’s Bryan, and if she asked him to keep it quiet, just listen, she bet he would. “I’m okay...” she answered instead, if doubtful.
“I forgive you.” (heda!skye after clarke probs guilted her into taking the flame instead of letting madi)
Is it really Skye the one forgiving her, or is it a Skye who is hearing ghosts in her head? Clarke looks down - she doesn’t feel guilty, an unprepared twelve years old should not be given the flame and become Octavia’s target, they’d have both been killed on the spot. Skye has all the odds in her favor when it comes to surviving this, and Clarke herself will do her best to protect her, but still believes she did what she had to do to keep a child, her child, safe. Madi’s body would hardly have survived the poison to begin with. But she didn’t want Skye to be hurting either, it wasn’t for lack of caring - she’d have asked anyone else to take the flame: her own mother, Bellamy, herself, if that had been possible. Especially herself. It had nothing to do with not loving the other person, and everything to do with Madi coming first for many reasons.
“Would you believe me if I told you I don’t enjoy this, I don’t want you to be in danger or injured?” Clarke asks, doubting Skye could. She thinks the only reason Jemma hasn’t tried to kill her at this point is because Jemma has a younger cousin who is almost a daughter, just as defenseless as Madi, and also comes from the Ark like them so she gets it in her own way. “I will have your back against whoever is opposed to you. I won’t forget that you are the reason Madi is safe.” And she can count on that, Clarke has all intentions of doing everything she can for Skye.
