IF THERE WAS ANYTHING THAT EMMETT HAD LEARNED in the decades that he had spent with the Cullen family, it was to be ready for anything. More times than not, it was a serious piece of advice; being ready to pack up and move towns in a matter of days, take all of the memories they had made in that new place and start right back from square one. They’d never know exactly when someone would start to get suspicious, though Alice’s gifts were able to help them out before things got too close to the wire.

However, once they were away from the prying eyes of the people of Forks, he knew to watch out for something entirely different. A house full of eternally-bored vampires led to plenty of jokes, and an intense prank war at the start of every new decade. ❝ Well, yeah, ❞ he started, nodding very matter-of-factly as he grabbed the back of one of the dining room chairs turning it around to sit in it backwards. obligatory back to school activity update!

hey! i start school again on monday, and since i acquired more blogs than i can count this summer ( seriously i’m still speechless... there’s more than 10 chrome accounts on my laptop rn. ) i know that i need to really shave stuff down if i’m gonna have any chance of focusing this semester.

so, here’s what i’m looking at:

poe ( @pilotslegacy ) is gonna remain my main blog. i’m debating deleting my tumblr app, but if i don’t, it’ll be the one that i stay logged in on. i’ve got a lot of muse for that guy and it’s not going anywhere any time soon.

america ( @starpunches ), elena ( @faithkept ), emmett ( @bearmauled ) and seth ( @bestest ) will also be kept, but will become completely queue-based. activity will be way more sporadic ( see: ghost ), and i’m a lot more selective with them in general to keep myself from getting overwhelmed.

as much as i hate to do it, this means that jaime ( @azulegacy ), miles ( @strongenough ), shuri ( @techdesigned ), and wally ( @speedlimit ) will be on hiatus until further notice. i haven’t had muse for them in a while, but i love them too much to let them go completely. this might change ( esp. with the new miles game set to come out before the end of the year ), but for now i’m gonna put these up on the shelf.

i’ve tossed around opening up discord interactions for muses on hiatus / muses from the old multi ( @neverstcp ), but i haven’t come to a decision yet. if that’s something that interests you, please let me know! i’d probably be really selective with them, again, to keep myself from getting overwhelmed.

thank you guys for sticking with me through all these blogs, and as i start to reign myself back in for responsible student mode. this course load’s my hardest one to date, so i really wanna make sure that i keep myself in check. i love you all and hope you’re doing alright! <3

Bella looks between the drink in her hand and Emmett and back at the drink. A pout forms as his words come into clear view. He’s right, or course he is and she knows because she had the unlucky experience of her first hangover a few months ago. Of course that was coupled with another kind of pain. So maybe this one wouldn’t be so bad…plus there’s fruit on top of this one which means it’s also healthy. Right?

Finally she grins and takes a big sip. “I don’t even care, that is tomorrow Bella’s problem, tonight Bella is having a damn good time!” Bella does a happy twirl and promptly trips, grabbing the back of a chair just in time as she laughs hard enough that a few people can’t help but look over in amusement. “I’m having fuuuuuuun, too much fun not to enjoy this happiness in a glass on a maybe!”

HE’D BEEN CHECKING UP ON HER EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE. It had started out as a concern for her well-being, a brotherly instinct that he’d thought he’d left behind after the first few years of his human life. They’d been so accustomed to packing up and moving everything at the slightest hint of danger, but that was before Bella. Before she’d been considered a part of the family. Even though she’d left, and Emmett knew and had even agreed with her decision, he didn’t want to lose another member of his family. He’d left Annie and his brothers because they couldn’t know his secret - but Bella already knew, so that seemed like fair game to him.

He wasn’t expecting for the visits to become more frequent, but he enjoyed Bella’s company. She was a friend, and it was refreshing to see someone living a life so human; Something he would have liked to do if things had turned out differently. He decided to play the part with her, leaning against the bar with a drink in his hand. The alcohol had no effect on him, of course, so he tried his best to pretend like it did. Like he was there as the designated driver, slowly sipping on the amber liquid while Bella continued to test her limits.

He’d brought the glass to his lips after he’d made the comment, pausing to let out a loud chuckle as her words slurred. His head shook, setting down the cup a little too quickly in preparation to catch her. She’d done it herself, though - a sign she wasn’t too far gone yet. ❝ If you’re expecting me to carry you out of here tonight that’s fine, but I’m gonna charge you like an Uber if you throw up on me. I can’t ruin another one of these shirts - I’ll be a dead man... Again. ❞
