Mistral, Angry Air-Genasi Monk.
Firbolg lady sketch- a new D&D character! Not that many female firbolg drawings, so this was a lot of improve. Still figuring out the right shades of brown and red.
halfling child with her bird
A halfling girl with her bird (a small ratite chick), in dark clothes. Cleaned-up sketch.
Quick sketches of Tina Fey’s SNL opening cameo from this weekend, needed the fabric study.
Here’s the full episode
Sketch of my current D&D character, Yarrow Shump, blacksmith, weapons enthusiast, and aspiring noble. Has horrible aim, but does a ton of damage if her glaive connects. Recently acquired a nice bottle of perfume and fancy clothes.
Final and Process images of this young elf mage student. He’s probably somewhere around 14-16 (but in elf years), and has his little smock and practice staff.
Used a nice bunch of ref. photos. I give my elves wonky limb proportions, I love an ‘alien’ look.
My process is getting more streamlined, and the line-work didn’t take forever. Also maybe accidentally channeled a certain christian musical.
A leather-armored half-elf bard with a pan flute. Definitely hiding some pointy ears.
Armor designed without direct reference, will get better reference next time.
Maps at different Levels-
“Kingdom Level” - National boundaries, large rivers, roads, dark green forests, and hexes. “Campaign Level” - Contents of one hex, with cities, towns, features, roads, rivers, and tributaries. “City Level” - Interior city detail, with some labeled streets, shops, and destinations.
Different styles/methods used in each. In the Campaign Map I used a pre-made map brush set, which looks good but I don’t think the terrain is as clear as I’d like it to be. I like the black and white of the City Map, but it doesn’t quite fit with the others. At some point I would like to redo the first map with a style similar to these: (1) (2) (3).
A Half-Orc Paladin of Tempus, War God of the Flaming Sword.
A color sketch character design, from prompt.
An update to the previous map, now a physical map with distinct mountains!
WIP fantasy map with scale. Areas of interest are the Dwarven Highlands, the Riverlands, the southern kingdom between seas, and the halfling bay on the eastern shore. General time period reference of Early Middle Ages (Europe and Byzantium) from 500AD - 1100AD.

Character Prompt: “ A delicately-featured woman with pale skin and light blonde hair. She has a large pink flower in her hair and has a grin on her face ”
Character Prompt: “ a modern-day wizard ”
Character Prompt: “ An injured royal messenger ”
I can’t take anything seriously at this point
Short haircut, new icon! This blog probably needs a new theme, too.
