So this happened to our employee Tammi: "Today while heading in to town I saw not one but three Lynx. I came upon them as they were getting ready to cross the road. At first it was just (what I am going to presume) the mother and a cub. The cub walked on to the road, turned around and sat down. The mother looked back and out of the woods came the third one. For a moment all I could do was stare and babble "wow" about a hundred times. Then I had the presence of mind to get my phone and take some pics. The most exciting thing I have ever seen. "Monday afternoon we spotted this little critter outside our cabin(#1). After a little research we discovered he is a Pine Marten, something we've never heard of before!" With a temperature of 34 degrees and an all-day wet snowfall, this wasn't the most fabulous ski day. However, it was an excellent day to make snow ladies.
