Yafya's rat gang and Deshico's bat gang are foils.
The rat gang is reformed thieves. They help Yafya maintain peace by controlling criminal rate in the dark. Their targets are mainly carnivore.
The bat gang is hired workers as assistants. They also help Deshico to maintain "peace," by controlling the purity of species. Their targets are mixed species animal with no discrimination. It doesn't matter if you're helpless orphans or a known criminal, you're all under Deshico's radar.
