"I'm okay," Scott replies as he stretches and rubs the back of his neck sheepishly. "Sorry for invading your bed. I was waiting for you to come back, and I guess I haven't really slept well since before Mexico. ...how much do you remember about what happened, Derek?"

"It's okay."

[ He dismissively waves a hand, not really minding that the younger had passed out on his bed. At the question, brows furrow in quiet consideration before easing into tired confusion. Hazel eyes find dark ones, unable to hide his own exhaustion and worry from them. ]

"Mostly ------ Just the fight. And... When she found me."

Stiles notices the hesitation and whines. When Derek finally crawls on the bed he shifts back finally and rolls onto Derek, completely uncaring of being naked. "You were gonna leave me on the bed!" he accuses.

[ Finally, the wolf cracks a smile. ]

"Maybe."

[ He loops an arm around Stiles' shoulders, nuzzling into the teen's neck. ]

When Derek enters the room, Scott slowly stirs awake, blinking blearily up at Derek. "Hey," he says quietly, sitting up and running through his sleep mused hair. "You okay? We didn't really get to talk much since...you know."

[ Hazel eyes flicker over to the younger Wolf, taking in how tired Scott looks. Letting out another slow breath, he settles on the edge of the bed. ]

“… I think so…”

[ Save for the period of time that’s a blank to him. All he really remembers is fighting the Berserkers when Scott was down. ]

"What about you?"

Stiles growls at being put down, rolling around on the bed and yipping at Derek, very clearly demanding he not be left alone on said bed.

[ Derek considers walking out of the room, but he knows Stiles will only howl and yip until Peter gets mad. So, he acquiesces and crawls onto the bed. ]

Scott just falls asleep on Derek's bed, like he's supposed to be there. He wanted to talk about Mexico and the beserkers and everything, but he passes out before he gets the chance.

[ Derek is exhausted, himself. It's been -- Well... Kate's back. That's what concerns him the most. Kate is back and he's missing a large chunk of time and all his wolf really knows is that Scott had been in danger. But the boy's on his bed, sound asleep. He lets out a slow breath, too jumbled and confused to allow himself to fall asleep depsite the exhaustion already setting into his bones. ]

Stiles lets out a noise like a purr and flings his head back as Derek nuzzles into him. His tail swishes excitedly. Finally he yips and rubs his muzzle against Derek's cheek.

"I missed you too."

[ It's muffled into Stiles' fur, eyes fluttering shut. He scratches gently behind his mate's ears before moving for the bedroom -- Plopping Stiles gently onto the bed. ]

Licks Derek's face, wiggling in his arms.

[ He makes a face like he's annoyed. Even if they both know that really, he's not. A chuckle rumbles in a broad chest, and he returns the tender gesture by nuzzling his face into Stiles' chest. ]
