Indiana performs Bound at a recent Maida Vale session.
Another star local to us; from Loughborough but now living in Long Eaton.
Her first appearance on The Beat was just over a year ago (Saturday 14th April 2012). We loved her and rushed her into the studio to record this.
Ady Suleiman in video session.
Ady is a rising star from Long Bennington, Lincolnshire.
In this stunning session he performs "Serious" and "So Lost".
Charlotte Carpenter in video session.
Charlotte is from Market Harborough and recently graduated from Derby Uni. She has residencies at The Cookie Jar in Leicester and The Rescue Rooms in Nottingham.
Tracks are "In the Night" and "Turn To Dust".
Boy Kid Cloud performs a video session with some nifty loops.
Tracks are "6am" and "Show Me Love".
Izzy Marie Hill video session for The Beat.

Jake Bugg talks to Zane Lowe and Dean Jackson about the role of The Beat and BBC Introducing in his early career. Recorded in Feb 2013.
Juls is a French man from Wigan. He claims he’s wearing a beret. We reckon it’s a flat cap. What’s your opinion?
Tips for BBC Introducing Musicians Masterclass
Our five golden tips are:
1) Take plenty of CDs containing your two or three strongest tracks.
2) Ensure that you clearly label the CD ITSELF. Include your contact details and your best web address.
3) Make sure you’ve done your homework about the folks hosting / contributing to your sessions.
4) Don’t be shy about introducing yourself to contributors or asking them questions. Give them those CDs!
5) Make the most of every moment. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Don’t forget to enjoy it too though!
Good luck!
Bevan - a singer-songwriter from Lincolnshire - in session on The Beat. The tracks are Touch Wood and Narcissoo.
Dean Jackson does a whistle-stop tour of the East Midlands for BBC Radio 6Music. Here, he bigs up Clubs, Siblings and Yunioshi. Tom Robinson agrees!
The Beat's James Clegg caught up with some excited Bielibers just ahead of his concert at Nottingham Arena. That's Justin's concert; not James', though we're sure he'd do a good job too!
Alaskan Faction - "Powerlines."
We love this track and the video just popped up on our feed so it seemed natural to share it. The foursome are students at Nottingham University. We expect great things of them.
The Natterjacks - Mark Evans and Freddie Bingham - perform live in The Beat studio. Tracks are Dark Days, Red Skies and Cold Sets in.
