Looking for Help from a 9-1-1 fan!

Last summer I found a like to a Google drive with Season 4, either on Twitter or Tumblr, but I don’t know who made it. Anyway I am behind on season 5 cause it doesn’t air on any channels I have, and was hoping whoever owns the season 4 drive has one for season 5 and is willing to share? If anyone knows anything or has access to a season 5 drive please let me know!!

What if instead of Eddie pining era, we get ‘Eddie realises he likes guys romantically era’?

Eddie goes out one night, gets hit on by a cute guy and totally panics and turns the guy down saying he’s not his type, but then he can’t stop thinking about it!

So then he decides to change his preferences on dating profile and goes on a date with a guy, and has his revelation. Eventually starts a semi-serious relationship with a guy (bonus if the guy is just a little too much like Buck), and then he comes out to everyone. Everyone is super happy for him - apart from Buck who is jealous.

Buck and Eddie fight, and Buck says “I thought if you were going to date guys I’d be in the running. I thought I didn’t have a chance cause I’m a guy, but you just view as a mess like everyone else.”

(Buck is totally Bi and dated guys in his pre-118 days - fight me on this! Even pre-Eddie season 1 Buck gives me Bi energy!)

Then queue pining, break up of Eddie and new guy (preferably stirred on by someone assuming Buck is Chris’s dad in front of him and Eddie not correcting them) and them getting together!

I don’t know if people realize how much activism these women did for gay right and during the aids crisis. If you think about it they were all long established in Hollywood and Broadway. They had tons of friends personally affected and dealing with the aids crisis. Estelle Getty lost a nephew. I think they helped plant seeds in people who watched Golden Girls that helped make things a little more normalized and mainstream.

I literally only watched 9-1-1 for the first time a couple of months ago, and I’m so tempted to waste my weekend rewatching ahead of season 4 finale.

Obviously starting at season 2 cause that’s when Eddie, Chris and Maddie joined.

Someone talk me out of it, or into it?!

Side note: Season 2 really said let’s give Buck a whole family.

9-1-1 Buddie: My Theory for Season Finale and Season 5

As someone who watches a lot of tv shows with will-they-won’t-they relationships, here is my theories for the finale and the beginning of next season.

Season Finale:

- Ana and Eddie break up

- Eddie and Buck have a discussion about their friendship and how much their relationship means to each other. The conversation is approaching romantic but not necessarily there, but they agree to revisit it at some point.

- Eddie has to take a break from work cause of his injury, and the season ends with him, Buck and Chris making holiday plans. Maybe a road trip to Texas or something.

Next season:

- First few episodes we get extra Buddie stuff; nothing out of the norm - they together on calls, movie nights, etc - nothing obviously romantic.

- Before mid season, something happens on a call that upsets one of them (in my head it’s Buck). The rest of the episode Buck refuses to talk to anyone and Eddie is clearly upset. Eddie has a talk with Bobby about Buck and then goes to visit Buck. Eddie finds Buck sitting upset in his room, Eddie sits next to him..

Buck says something about being alone and is crying. Eddie says he’s not alone, he has his friends, his sister, and him and Chris. Eddie says “I love you” super casually and kisses Buck on the head, Buck says “I love you too” and then they properly kiss. The camera zooms out to show a picture of Buddie in Bucks room which is clearly romantic. Indicating they’ve been together awhile.

- Next Episode is called Buddie Begins.

Shows flashbacks to the two of them from throughout the show. Buck meeting Chris, various missing moments after injury etc, Texas scenes after that TK thing in the crossover, one of them coming out to the other (I think at least one of them came out as Bi in High School), Buck meeting Ana and visibly disliking her... so on so fort.

We find out they got together between season 4 and 5, but decided to keep it a secret due to work.

Back half of the season we see them together as a couple - telling Chris and Carla they’re together - but they still won’t tell the team. Eventually we find out someone knows (probably Hen) but they don’t reveal it. All leading up to them coming out as a couple before the season finale. Then season 6 can be them openly dating and working together.

So I have a fear about the whole Eddie getting shot theories.

Castle Season 3 final, ended with Beckett getting shot - Castle tackles her too late. While he is covering her while other people look for the snippet he confesses his love for her and that’s how the season ends.

What if 9-1-1 does something similar?? Eddie is shot, Buck confesses and it fades to black.
