Strawberry Crunch Cupcakes
How do I describe a tired person? I got 'dark circles under the eyes' but it kind of stops there.
I mean "hasn't slept in four days" tired by the way. Like straight up the hallucinating kind of sleep deprived.
Found what I was looking for!
This website has a whole page dedicated to physcial descriptors of certain emotions, including tiredness and exhaustion!

— a short and casual genshin impact otome game.

┊ (Windows 🪟, Linux 🐧, or Mac 🍎 only!)
◇ 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬? ◇
Just a simple something I had in mind for a Genshin otome game... I have 0 attention span, 0 time, and 0 knowledge to write and build a full-fledged 3D game with intricate stories, plot, and mechanics. This is just a simple visual novel with a streamlined plot and partial voices. You should be able to complete everything in like... 30 minutes long in total. Might be less, even.
◇ 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐬 ◇
The game will contain the following: established relationship, FLUFF, comfort, lots of pet names, suggestive themes, lots of kissy sounds on some routes, implications of violence (not towards player), a sprinkle of protective behavior
◇ 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 ◇
Zhongli, Xiao, Childe, Diluc, Kaeya, Itto, Kazuha (Zhongli is selected by default because who doesn’t love geo daddy???)
◇ 𝐰𝐡𝐨'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫? ◇
This is a very self-indulgent project, hence the dialogues were written with fem!player in mind. It will contain suggestive themes, so please be aware of that before downloading / playing!
◇ 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲? ◇
Yes, it's totally free - in fact, I do not accept payment.
Adventure of Shen Jianxin Season 3 | OST: Meng Ru Hai (Dream into Sea)
Absolutely not a new observation but i love that the toki pona word for animal, "soweli," is written like this
fuck man that sure is
That right there is a good solid burger patty with the intriguing addition of middle eastern spices 👀👀👀 (and as we all know variety is the spice of life, and spice is the variety of food.) I’m also intrigued by how she put the patty in the pita(?) which makes it a sort of burger panini. It looks good and I am going to have to try it.
I want to make this for my family, but my mom’s pretty iffy on beef that is anything but well done (dry as fuck) so I’m wondering how to cook it throughly enough without burning the bread.
You can cook it in very thin pita with a thin layer of minced beef/lamb so that the meat is cooked brown all the way through in only 1 minute per side.
But also! Red Meat is "Well Done" at 160F/72C (white meat is 165F/75C). Bread actually doesn't even toast until 255F/123C!!
So, if you make the full size patties in a frying pan on a low-medium heat, or an oven set to 300F/150C, it will take about 20 minutes to cook instead of only 3 minutes, but it will DEFINITELY not burn the bread, and the meat will be VERY well done.
Here is the oven based recipe I suggested elsewhere on the post
The first time I had this dish was in Lebanon when a childhood friend took me to a restaurant called Taaj El-Moulook (meaning The kings’crow
@bananafosters In case you are interested also!
I was intrigued by your insane drama ramblings so I googled the knockout and the description on mydramalist just doesn't make any damn sense (compels me though) can you summarise the plot lol
granted, i am only on episode 12 and also it is still airing (there are 10 episodes left i think; 29 have already been broadcast)
The mydramalist summary does seem rather confusing but I'm guessing that's because there's a modern day frame narrative device. The first few episodes (the one I've been watching) take place in 2000, 20 years in the past.
This is not a spoiler because it's mentioned in the present day stuff from the very first few episodes but the character Gao Qiqiang (Zhang Songwen) becomes a crime boss in the future, although we meet him in the show when he's just a street vendor who sells fish. The other lead character is a cop named An Xin (Zhang Yi) who's that typical sort of character with a passion for justice and doing the right thing and all that.
In the arc I've watched so far, it's basically been a crime drama with mystery and police corruption (the usual), plus Gao Qiqiang's descent into crime :)c Can't summarise that much more because I've yet to finish the show but it's definitely my cup of tea. I started watching it because I kept getting videos of it recommended on douyin a few days ago:
consider this my sales pitch
reblog this version of post instead, thanks

Punctuating Dialogue
✧
➸ “This is a sentence.”
➸ “This is a sentence with a dialogue tag at the end,” she said.
➸ “This,” he said, “is a sentence split by a dialogue tag.”
➸ “This is a sentence,” she said. “This is a new sentence. New sentences are capitalized.”
➸ “This is a sentence followed by an action.” He stood. “They are separate sentences because he did not speak by standing.”
➸ She said, “Use a comma to introduce dialogue. The quote is capitalized when the dialogue tag is at the beginning.”
➸ “Use a comma when a dialogue tag follows a quote,” he said.
“Unless there is a question mark?” she asked.
“Or an exclamation point!” he answered. “The dialogue tag still remains uncapitalized because it’s not truly the end of the sentence.”
➸ “Periods and commas should be inside closing quotations.”
➸ “Hey!” she shouted, “Sometimes exclamation points are inside quotations.”
However, if it’s not dialogue exclamation points can also be “outside”!
➸ “Does this apply to question marks too?” he asked.
If it’s not dialogue, can question marks be “outside”? (Yes, they can.)
➸ “This applies to dashes too. Inside quotations dashes typically express—“
“Interruption” — but there are situations dashes may be outside.
➸ “You’ll notice that exclamation marks, question marks, and dashes do not have a comma after them. Ellipses don’t have a comma after them either…” she said.
➸ “My teacher said, ‘Use single quotation marks when quoting within dialogue.’”
➸ “Use paragraph breaks to indicate a new speaker,” he said.
“The readers will know it’s someone else speaking.”
➸ “If it’s the same speaker but different paragraph, keep the closing quotation off.
“This shows it’s the same character continuing to speak.”
