Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Yes it is February and I am still using the limited edition christmas collection from Lush! If you think that is bad I have the large version as well as this miniature which is my second miniature by the way! Anyway, if you love sweet scents, I cannot say anything else besides from the fact that you need this shower gel in your life! As soon as you pop open the lid, you can smell the sweet-smelling luscious scent that this has. It smells great and it looks great! The vibrant pink colour is so fun and lively it will lighten your mood just by looking at it! I love this product and will use it until there is not a single drop left! I wish that this was an all year round product as this way I wouldn't have to stock up during the Christmas season! For next holiday season, all you sweet lovers need this product in your life! MUA eyeshadow palette

This 12 shade palette sold at a bargain of a price by MUA! Weak pigmentation but worth the money! Beautiful shiny colours including a black and a rustic gold! Both cool and warm shades to match all skin tones.

Colours for both the day and the night so you can look great throughout the day. My favourite shade is definitely the darkest brown and the white-gold shade. The white-gold shade looks beautiful as a highlight and the dark brown looks amazing in the crease of the eye.

If you are on a tight budget and cannot afford a rimmel palette let alone the urban decay naked palettes! This palette will have every shade you need for every occasion!

As you can imagine cheap price means cheap quality right? So yes, the quality is not good. Weak pigmentation, does not apply smoothly, without a primer will fall within 3 hours, smudges, does not pick up on the brush well and the packaging is faulty and every time I open it I have to use a pair of scissors! So there are several faults but this palette was £4.00 so yes I would say it was worth it just for the colours that it offers!

Guess Bracelet This cute guess bracelet matches any simple outfit. It looks great layered and looks great on its own! The bright red triangle and the shiny diamond heart brightens up any look. This bracelet is cute, simple and stylish and looks great against a floaty long sleeved tee. Love this bracelet so much and honestly if I had known how much I would love it I would have bought it in black and white and perhaps a silver-grey as well! Rating: 10/10 (if I could give 11 I would!)

Beach Waves

Pulling off the perfect beach waves isn’t easy although it make look effortless anybody who has tried will know the truth. You may have tried out several different hair products to make your hair have the perfect beach waves but now all you need is one product and it is the Toni & Guy Sea Salt Spray. It comes in two sizes, a full size and a travel size. I have both because I love this product way too much!

After curling your hair with a wand to get those effortless looking curls spray this product to the ends of your hair and then scrunch your hair all over until you have those perfectly imperfect looking beach waves!

I love this look and think it is excellent for an everyday school, work or party look. It goes with literally every outfit and every makeup look and to be able to pull off this look seems impossible without this product. The only downside to this product is that if you put to much in your hair, it can make your hair look wet and oily so don’t put this product at your roots!

That aside this product is great and definitely worth the purchase!

Bandanas

Bandanas are just a fun way to spice up any plain simple outfit. Literally all you need is a cute bandana - any colour, a plain white top thrown over black leggings or black high waisted jeans and you’ll look like you’ve spent ages planning your outfit!

This bandana I bought from asos.com and it is the perfect shade of red. It isn’t that bright mainstream red which everybody seems to have but more of a darker crimson kind of red. Anyway the bottom line is that it looks great and suits any hair colour.

It is so easy to fold up into the shape that you want and you could tie it as a bow and wear it on the front, side or even on the back of your head! Seriously though it is the perfect accessory to match a charcoal-brown smokey eye, a matte berry red lip and a glowing bronzed touch!

Simple Kind to Eyes Make-up remover pads

These pads are small circulars shape wipes soaked in Simple kind to eyes make-up remover. They clear your eye make-up off so quickly an effectively whether you have just mascara to a full on smokey eye. With a few swipes of the wet pad your eye make-up should come off clean. At least this is what they claim to do.

This product was so disappointing to me. All I see it as is a more expensive small version of a baby wipe. I’ve been frantically rubbing at my eyes with this product until my eyes are sore. It claimed to be soaked in their make-up remover cleanser which actually I have and that product is pretty amazing but sadly I am always finding myself further soaking the pad. The pack is very small and barely filled which is so disappointing considering the price is more than double of a packet of normal fragrant free make-up remover wipes! I will not be repurchasing this anytime soon as frankly for Simple it is just not good enough.

Simple is a very respectable brand and I do love several of their products including their face wash and cleanser, make-up remover and day moisturiser but this was quite disappointing. I don’t know if I am just using it wrong or what but I didn’t like this product.

Jack Wills Body Mist

This Jack Wills Body Mist is the perfect beach scent which you could wear as your everyday fragrance. The packaging could have been more creative but for the scent I don’t think the packaging matters as it smells so fresh cuttingly beautiful.

Jack Wills aren’t really known for their scents but they probably should be as this body mist is actually amazing! This is also available with a bunch of other Jack Wills goodies in Boots as one of the special packages that they offer. The package is currently half price on sale of about £30 from £60 but stock is low. This is definitely worth the purchase.

Vo5 Extreme Style [finish-it] Hairspray

This Vo5 hairspray holds any hairstyle no matter how elaborate and tricky. It applies well all over the head and only takes one 5 second pump of the nozzle to cover your whole hair leaving not a strand out. However I wouldn’t over apply otherwise it will leave your hair, although won’t look it, it will feel stiff and crisp.

When I just wear loose curls or straight hair I like to spray the hairspray onto the tips of my fingers and run my fingers through my hair. This way my hair gets the hold it needs but still flows an feels super soft!

Vo5 has always made excellent hair products so why not try this! It is affordable as it is a drugstore product so there isn’t any harm in trying it however although it is a great hairspray I probably won’t be rushing out to buy this again as there are other products which are equally as good as this.

Model's Own Nail File This freebie nail file is actually amazing! I don't know If it's just magic but it really does give your nails that extra but of shine and smoothness. This cuboid shaped nail file offers four different steps: 1. File it, 2. Buff it, 3. Smooth it, 4. Shine it. It shapes your nails till they match your desired finish! It is the perfect size to carry around with you in your bag throughout the day so you can have tip-top nails all day, everyday! As this is only the freebie they offer you when you browse in their store, I will definitely be looking at their other nail files for when this one gets overused. Rating: 10/10

Revlon Lip Butter - 015 Tutti Frutti The Revlon Lip Butter in the shade 015 Tutti Frutti is a beautiful orange-coral shade which would look great on any skin tone. The Revlon line of lip butters offers moisturising, soft lip colouring however with a medium pigmentation. The shade I have is perfect for the daytime especially during the summer, its bright and radiant colour gives a light touch to any makeup look. It is packaged with an elegant diamond printed lid with a magnetic lock to cover the lip butter. It sits nicely on the lips however it only lasts for about 2-3 hours so you have to keep it with you thought the day. That aside it is a fun alternative to lip gloss or stick and I ind this shade works perfectly with a brown cool toned eye which you could find in the naked 2 palette. Overall Revlon's line is worth the purchase however for a drugstore lip product the price could be reduced as I would have liked the pigmentation to be a bit stronger, then again, that is my opinion and others may like the pigmentation as it is. However, I would still buy it as it is a great product. This colour especially caught my eye as I don't have many orange tone shades and I do like it a lot as it goes with several make up looks and hair styles! Rating: 6/10

Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner The Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner is an excellent liquid liner with a felt tip pen nib which makes it so much easier to apply. The pure black ink comes out as soon as the liner touches your skin. You need not apply a second coat but if you wish to thicken your line you can do that easily as the felt tip nib allows you to correct and perfect! It has a gloss black packaging with the name of the liquid eyeliner written in a soft baby pink. Attempting to accomplish the perfect wing has never been easier. However this pen nib is not very flexible therefore you will probably need at least 4-5 practices before you have mastered the cat eye effect. However same goes for most liquid liners right!? For a drugstore eyeliner this is definitely worth the purchase as it gives what it promises - a cat eye! The liner lasts up to 8 hours from my experiences which for me is more than enough and with a bit of makeup remover it swipes off without rubbing on the eye. This liner will continue to be in my top 10 drugstore favourite liners and I will definitely repurchase it when I run out! Rating: 8/10

The fishtail braid is the perfect simple statement hairstyle perfect for any occasion, literally any occasion! It is one of those hairstyles which never go out of style.

It is so easy to accomplish, takes only 60 seconds and can be dressed up or down depending on the event. You can wear it messy with pieces hanging out but not too many pieces that it looks like you’ve fallen over! You can wear it sophisticated with a beautiful strong hold hairspray look. You can wear it over the shoulder or round the back. There are endless possibilities!

Perfect for school, work, running and parties! The best part about this hairstyle is that it suits any hair colour and would literally suit any outfit, including a pantsuit! Lush Whoosh Shower Jelly

I recently purchased the Lush Whoosh Shower Jelly as its bright blue-green colour caught my eye from the front of the store. I took it home and tried it the next day and honestly I have already noticed a difference in my skin, even though it may be extremely subtle, I am sure if I swear by this for a few weeks my skin will feel so great. It clears up dry patches which is great due to this miserably cold English weather and it smells too good to be real. It has a lemon, lime and rosemary scent which may seem really strong and distasteful but this combination is a perfect marriage.

It can be used on your body, hair or scalp, perhaps face but I don’t plan on using it on my face any time soon. I use it on my body as the jelly texture feels so smooth against my skin. If you are wondering if the jelly texture makes it hard to apply well I can tell you that it doesn’t because as soon as it hits the water its gentle texture falls into your hands ready to apply.

Lush have made so many amazing body care products so what makes this product unique has to be the pungent lemony fresh smell which lingers around you even out of the bathroom, the mesmerising electric blue-green yet not quite turquoise colour and of course the weird yet memorable name ‘Whoosh’ which mimics the sound of a wave in a vast blue-green sea - the colour of the shower jelly.

Lush products have always done great things for my skin and I’m sure they have done the same for your skin as well. I would recommend this shower jelly as it just feels so nourishing against the skin and makes you feel clean and fresh for the day.

Lancôme Défincils Mascara

Lancôme Defincils Mascara is one of my favourites. It gives exactly what it promises. Definition. With, of course, a bit or curl, length and volume. This mascara is a great day to night mascara. Just wear it on the top lashes during the day with a not too smokey brown eye and a nude-pink lip and you could live by this make-up look but the reason I love this mascara so much and would recommend it to anyone is because how easily you can transform your eyes for the night. All you have to do is apply it to your bottom lashes and layer on the top!

The definition and length it will give you is more than unreal and the best part is that it lasts 24 hours not like you would need it for that long but it's always good having the guarantee. As good as this mascara is a review wouldn't be fair without having the cons. When applying this mascara to your bottom lashes it tends to smudge after 4 hours but it doesn't fall completely that it's why I suggested wearing it on your bottom lashes during the night and no the day but if you wanted to wear it on your bottom lashes during the day either wear it only on the outer corners of your bottom lashes or just be careful and keep makeup wipes in your bag.

That aside this mascara is still much better than others and is definitely worth the buy. The packaging is a beautiful gloss black engraved with the words Lancôme Défincils in gold. This mascara can also be bought in a pack with the Lancôme Defincils Eyeliner and the Lancôme cleansing eye serum. Lancôme as you probably already know is a high end brand but their are Lancôme booths found in Boots, I know my local Boots has one so you could find this mascara quite easily as long as it is in stock.

Although it is quite expensive it is worth it! It doesn't dry up quickly I bought mine about 5 months ago and it still hasn't dried up! If you need a long lasting mascara you should definitely buy this one and just a disclaimer I am not promoting this item for Lancôme. I genuinely believe that this is an excellent mascara.
