Thanksgiving pt . 1: I have gotten to see the Lord work through this group in huge ways and have been blessed by their willingness to volunteer, to serve, and to draw others into this little family. Having a group that steps up makes leading so much easier. Thank you for all for everything you have done to make Thursday night's so great, from just showing up, to sharing during small groups, to helping Friendsgiving be more than I could possibly imagine. "Glorifying God in Womanhood": if you were to tell me 5 years ago that that phrase would be something that I would desire to live by, I would have laughed. I grew up not fully understanding what true Godly womanhood looked like. In fact, I hated the phrase "Biblical womanhood". I wanted nothing to do with it. But God, in His infinite love, had something bigger planned for me than I had planned for myself. And now one of my deepest desires is to not only live that out, but to show other women what that looks like. Biblical womanhood is not a cage. It is not constraining. It is not oppressive. It is beautiful, freeing, and awe inspiring and that is how I want to live. By glorifying God in womanhood. (at The Warehouse)

From finding and buying a dress 4 hours before, to the weather clearing up right as everyone arrived, the Lord worked out every second of the timing. Words can't describe how dear these two people are to me. I am beyond honored to have had a part in helping make yesterday come together and it is going to continue to be an honor to watch this beautiful couple walk through life together.
