The moment that the Batman takes off his costume, is the moment that the Batman puts on his disguise. You see, Bruce Wayne is not Batman, Batman is Bruce Wayne. He made the decision to hand his life over to the Batman when his parents were murdered. Every hero has a price to pay.

The Batman is perfect. He is a calculating machine. The only thing bringing him down is his constant quarrel with Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne is only human; he gets tired, he miscalculates, and worst of all, he sometimes lets his feelings dictate his actions. Every scar on Wayne’s body is a product of his internal struggle with the Batman.
