NSP talk about Starlight Brigade in the Pure Elegance Tour

It's no secret that Dan Avidan is completely bewildered at the fact that he gets to have the careers that he has, but he opened up about that at the TWRP concert me and my girlfriend went to last night.

When introducing Starlight Brigade, he talked about what it meant for himself and TWRP to write it together. The lyrics are literally about a boy named Strive finding a spaceship and joining a brigade to save his planet, but it's really about how it felt for Danny to start a music career. He knew he was going to fail, but he wanted to do it anyway because it would be better to fail at doing something incredible than to not try at all.

In the music video, the Starlight Brigade is represented by sci-fi redesigns of TWRP (and Ninja Brian) because the titular brigade literally represents Danny finding TWRP. The song is about how it felt for him to become a part of something larger and achieve his dream.

I love this song even more now.

Considering that Danny would make sweet sweet love to furniture, food, continents, states, and plants, I don't think it would be weird that he would end up getting attracted by the personifications of the weather channel. Or whatever Lanino and Elnina are supposed to be in the light world.

I'm just as curious as he is.
