Just to clarify, Shiro is just a mlm. The writers have stated that they are not going to label him or he and Adam’s relationship so they aren’t boxing anyone who relates to him out. He can be gay, or bi, or pan, or whatever and as long as he still likes men in someway it’s canon! If you decide that you want him to be 100% gay and never draw him with women ever again that’s totally valid, but don’t let it be because someone gave you bad intel on what is vs isn’t canon.

Thanks for clearing things up a bit about the canon statements.I think it's important to acknowledge canon queer characters as what they are but in general shipping has nothing to do with canon and doesn't necessarily have to reflect all canon aspects. The whole purpose of ships is to cater to a certain preference so people should be free to create whatever content they wish to see.As for me, I'm honestly just not into any straight Shiro ships, that's why I said there won't be any art of that kind by me.But thanks a lot for your message and for sharing your opinion. Hey there,The drawing you're referring to (I guess) was made way back when there was only two or three seasons of Voltron and no canon representation in sight .I made it when some people started using my klance drawings for spreading and tagging them with hate for other ships. So I tried making a statement that I don't agree with such behavior and that my blog always was and always will be a hate free zone. Noone should ever give others shit about their shipping preference, this whole discourse is nothing but stupid to me.That being said, as I am queer myself I am just as happy and proud that there finally is official LGBTQ+ representation in Voltron (and that they chose Shiro for it) as you are. Actual representation is so rare and important and shouldn't be overlooked.Long story short, there won't be any straight Shiro art from me, even though I may redraw the picture you're referring to since I still stand by it's message .
