hot take but i don’t think that kenny would actively do drugs/not try in school.

Kenny sees how drugs affected his family. Not just his parents but his whole family. And he’d be damned if he let it happen to his future family/Karen. That’s not to say he doesn’t smoke and get high every once in a while but I don’t think he’d be some pill popping asshole. Like Kyle, Kenny probably would do stuff in moderation. He’s not gonna be snorting cocaine or anything. The furthest he would (actively? go is probably marijuana. Not to say he’s never experimented. He’s probably done all sorts of shit. But only once. (Though this is different with Kyle, I feel like Kyle would experiment but he would not go too far. Kyle’s not a pansy but he’s also not stupid). And with school? I feel like Kenny would want a genuine education. He would want a better life than the one he was given. If he were to have a wife/future kids he would never want to put them through what he and his family went through. While he may not be the best in school, he certainly tries. He’s probably a solid B student. He would have gone to a better college if he could afford it. He probably goes to community college for two years and got multiple jobs before deciding to go farther away and start a new life where he is successful.

Idk. It’s just a hot take of mine. Just with Kenny’s family and stuff I can’t see him popping pills and snorting drugs 24/7. I can’t see him skipping class and not trying. He wants a good life. He wants to give Karen a good life when she gets out of high school. He wants a better life than the one he has.
