And now for something completely different.

The RX-124 TR-6 Woundwort. I believe this is from Advance of Zeta, something I have very little familiar with in terms of story but really enjoy several of the designs of. I went a bit ham with this one.

Really love their whole rabbit aesthetic and I've been tempted to get more so I can use the rest of my AoZ decals. The build was genuinely pretty painless for the most part, and decaling and paneling was a breeze.

Outside of the legs, anyways. I'm convinced more than 2/3rds of the parts count is in the legs alone. It was exhausting work, but I think it was worth it.

I feel a lot more fulfilled seeing the finished work than I did staring at individual limbs before assembly. Not sure what I want to do next, but I am gonna take a break. My fingers really need it. This is probably my best work so far, though. And I'm really proud of how she came out.

So, you may notice that the shoulder shield is missing. It's *mostly* done, see below but there is a reason for it being off the kit! My partner is a con vendor so he has all that fancy sticker equipment and stuff. We're making custom decals as mentioned in my previous Nightseeker II post if memory serves. We have the unit logos drawn, and the Nightseeker II custom team has theirs printed and ready on a sheet! We're still getting the one for the Spartan and its team set up though, hence the gap on the shield's decaling. In due time!

I got this a long time ago off of itch.io, and I thought it was a sweet little experience. You can see and feel a lot of the passion in it even if it's a bit rough around the edges. Love in a creation is always more valuable than polish, I like to think. I hope the sale gets a few more eyes on it.

A finished project again, took me a little over a month to complete (if you ignore the near year I took in between doing Just The Head and literally everything else). Hope you're ready for a long spiel!

This is the GM Night Seeker II! A pban kit I bought in bulk some time ago to make a squad out of. This is the first of that, and I hope the project as a whole pans out. I'll talk more about the concept there at the end of the post.

I know a lot of the below are reposted images but I didn't take many of the process this time.

So the idea for the squad I'm making here is to model it after Wild Weasels, a type of unit from the Vietnam War originally if memory serves. Basically, their job is to fly around trying to get shot at so other forces can blow up their AA site. The Wild Weasels themselves are going to be represented by a GM Spartan and another yet-to-be-decided suit. Maybe a Ground Gundam. The actual team that dives in and takes out the enemy is going to be represented by a GM Night Seeker II (the one you see here) and two GM Night Seeker II customs. One kit bashed with a GM Sniper Custom (the missile pod variant) and another with a GM Guard Custom. So a Nightseeker with it's back pack replaced by the GM Sniper one, probably the arms too? Definitely the beam sniper itself as well. And the other will get the GM Sniper's legs, along with the Guard's shield. The legs have a lot of extra thrusters on them.

These configurations specifically are meant to represent all the extra thrust these units will need to be able to deploy and exfiltrate safely with the Guard's giant shield and Sniper's missile pod respectively.

Also if you're wondering what the masking tape with a dot means, it just means I have waterslide decals I bought separately in the boxes.

There's a lovely town in eastern PA right before the border called New Hope that I love to pieces. Whenever we have guests I make a habit of taking them there. It's a bit tourist trap-y, but it has a lot of heart and some beautiful scenery. Love Saves the Day is a favorite for fun thrifts!

No idea what kind of bird this is, but they're beautiful. Sadly my camera doesn't have the best zoom.

Also this fucking demon died for his greed. He fell into the icecream.

Also, we went to Anime NYC. Took some fun pictures of cosplayers, mostly. We even met the legendary Four Pussy and some kid that looks like a boy.

Also, first picture of me, I guess. In full cosplay. With a wig. And a face covering. I'm dressed up as Carmen from Lobotomy Corporation/Library of Ruina for the second year in a row. Thinking of progressively touching up that cosplay.

Also found a very lost MTF Agent in the train station after. Bro was having a bad day.

Took my partner and a friend out to NYC for a drawing event. They had to strongarm me into drawing anything, since I was mostly there to see them both having fun, but we all left with doodles and smiles. There's some very fun graffiti in the city.

Funnily enough, someone immediately tried to rip us off for parking. I also got pulled aside by an elderly woman who A) didn't understand why I was dolled up and B) didn't understand why I was taking pictures of graffiti. She was utterly bewildered by my entire being. Also, we raided a second hand movie and music place. Left with some fun CDs and movies I still need to rip. One of these days I really need to put aside the money for a home media server so I don't have to bootleg everything to other people through my Dropbox.

Gnarly Davidson fucking rules. Sounds like a band name.

Locals strays being themselves. Nothing special really, just saw them on their steps and wanted to test the flash module I got for my camera since it was dark.

Walked around a local lake a few months ago to test out the new camera on home ground. I like a few of these, but I was still trying to figure out how I liked taking pictures back then. I also did this dressed a bit fem, so I got some funny looks from locals. Oh well.

I distinctly remember getting really annoyed by people walking around the park while I was trying to take pictures lol. I don't like getting other people in my photos when I can avoid it.

And some tiny friends I found out and about, along with another that was nice enough to sing for the camera. Love their little head bob.

Also, this park is 100% haunted.

Hi all, so, I kinda vanished again. Oops. Turns out organizing ~1000 images into neat tumblr post-able clumps is horribly exhausting. So I'll take that slower and get through them Eventually. In the meantime, I think I'll just periodically dump the contents of a camera I thrifted while I was in Vancouver over the summer. I still use my phone for photos pretty regularly but if I'm Going Somewhere, I use that.

While I prep some posts before imminently forgetting about this blog again for another three months, here's some pictures I took while wandering around outside my apartment complex. Mostly of a local stray who loved the pets but very much got bothered by the camera in their face after a while. I've also noticed I really like taking pictures of the sun and moon.

Additionally, I also went to a local event thing called Lunar Faire. It was nice, got a banger jacket there I've been wearing out lately. Took some pictures there, but most of the camera's contents from that day is me struggling to get a good looking picture of the moon.

Been a busy week, didn't have the chance to schedule more posts. Oops. But we continue our meandering around the University of British Columbia's campus, namely their many gardens and locals.

Alongside some very majestic trees and some structures that compliment them nicely.

And a little glimpse of me! Building that confidence to post cosplay pics little by little.

And capping this set off with another bit of cool graffiti on a bus stop. I'm under the impression there's a lot of native folk that leave pieces like this all about, and I think that's really cool! Especially nice that they're left up as consistently as they are.

Someone yell at me to schedule more posts when I wake up. It's 4:30am on a work day. I hate insomnia.

And from there we were off to Vancouver! Not really even sure how to tag this one, I want to say urban photography but Vancouver is such a colorful and vibrant city. Nothing like that dump across the river from Jersey.

The campus itself was a relatively short bus ride away. The public transit network is really impressive to be as someone used to underfunded public infrastructure.

And a lot of birds just out and about. Not sure what these are. Crows? Ravens? But they're very pretty whatever they are.

Their rose garden was lovely. Took some very nice pictures of myself They're trying to work up the nerve to post.

Also a solid contender for the single most vaguely ominous thing I saw on that trip. Solid contender for my favorite picture outright, too. This was on a dinky little maintenance side path on the campus. What even happened here?
