Ok so I work in landscaping and there's a hive on the property where I work. When I go in really early in the morning, I can see the bumblebees j chillin on some flowers. Sometimes I try and pet them but they usually swat my finger away with their leg and it's the most adorably sassy thing I've ever seen. But is that bad for the bees or do they just not like me disturbing their sleep?

some bees don’t like to be touched. i would always recommend asking first and respecting their personal space if the answer is clearly no
