Brewing Now: Summer Hefeweizen

Grains: Wheat Malt, Flaked Wheat, CaraHell Malt

Extract: Liquid & Dry Wheat

Hops: Saaz (Czech)

Yeast: White Labs Hefeweizen Ale

I've only had this one time at Taco Mac, but it's one of those beers you remember. Seems to empty within a few hours of tapping, so I am guessing these will be hard to find.

Normally, I'd be up for trying the weirdest techniques in brewing. Even Dogfish Head's chewed corn for their Chicha doesn't throw me off. This one's kinda gross... and the fact they named the brew New Crustacean?!?

Brewing Now: Dry Hopping Day!

American Pale Ale - In the tank for 7 days and now racking into secondary fermentor with 2 oz of Willamette whole leaf hops.

Good article on the effect water has on brewing. I've always thought this is a major factor in why we're drawn to certain beers.

Extract: Pale LME & Light DME

Hops: Northern Brewer, Cascade & Willamette

Yeast: White Labs California Ale
