Cat for Cash Episode 10 (FINAL)
The final review for the final episode. Oh my goodness, what a rollercoaster, where do we even start. It was just full of so many emotions.
Lynx going off by himself on a walk to refresh his mind was so sad to see. And, then right after we find out Granny Juu is sick, and they get a call to go see the vet right away. We literally started freaking out so bad, we did not wanna see Granny Juu go. Lynx literally just lost his mom like about a year before and now he's losing his cat that he found and saved when he was a kid. He grew up with her, she was like a second mom and the last memory of his mom. We were literally screaming "NO NO" all throughout the scenes with Granny Juu. </3
As sad as it was though, it let to the most beautiful scene in the show. Granny Juu leaving lead to Lynx having a final talk with his mom and finally understanding her. He realized it wasn't that his mom thought he wasn't fit for looking after the cats and the cafe, she just wanted him to go on his own path. He felt so guilty for everything, calling himself the worst kid and asking his mom if she loved him. It was literally a way for him to let out his guilt and in return, he came to understand that his mom did love him, and always has, he just didn't see it until now.
The cinematography in that scene was just so gorgeous. The dark blue background and cream colored lights and papers hanging up above. Plus the wind blowing them created the most beautiful scene ever. <3 The fact that Je Meow cut off her parents from her life just to raise Lynx shows how much she truly loves him and was never mad at him for his decisions. Lynx begging her to stay at the end was the worstttt, it literally broke our hearts </3</3</3
After all of that, it moved from sad and beautiful to adorable and lovely. The funeral for Granny Juu was literally a double funeral to honor her and Je Meow. Seeing everyone crying at the funeral was so beautiful honestly cuz we know not everyone was scripted to cry but it was just such an emotional moment, even the extras were crying. The fact that this is the second time Khao had to cry and sing at his character's mother's funeral is crazy, why do they do him like that. </3
The flashforward a year to how they're doing at the cafe now is so sweet, they're still clearly affected by the passing of Je Meow and Granny Juu. But, they're getting through it together. Seeing Leo, Lynx, and Tiger sharing Granny Juu's blanket on the floor next to the cats, that's our familia right there. AND OMG, the scene where Lynx is laying on Tiger's chest in bed is just, mwahhh. The cutest and most fluff scene, that's where we need a cigarette. (We know if that was SandRay, they'd both have a cigarette).
THE ENDDDDD. THE ENDDDD, WE DID IT. WE MANIFESTED THEM GETTING MARRIED. THAT WAS ALL USSS, YOU'RE WELCOME GUYS. But like actually, it was so exciting seeing them get married. The whole thing of them signing important papers for the debt and then moving on to other important papers (marriage certificate), genius move from Tiger. Now we just need a 24-part special, each part an hour long, about their day-to-day lives as a married couple.
Final thoughts: It's just a silly little series about cats and a perfect comfort show, especially if you already know FirstKhao. It's the perfect show for slowburn, the little moments between them activated our serotonin. We just love seeing these characters be there for each other, and seeing Lynx grow and forgive himself, forgive his mom, accept Tiger's love, and get married. It's definitely not really a show to watch if it's your first time watching a FirstKhao show but if you already know them, then the slowburn is perfect because you're just watching all the chemistry and waiting for the moment they get together. All in all, beautiful show. Adorableee. And we love watching FirstKhao in everything, they are literally soulmates irl.
Anyways, now time to start Only Friends: Dream On. 🙏🚬🐈🍻
