Next read. ❤❤
Late night read ❤❤🍷 Final Girls by Riley Sager
Wrapping up my September reads. I read all of these...I didnt get to finish Here Comes The Sun though. Bummer. October will be Thrillers & Suspense. I have a few books lined up for that. I feel I'm reading extremely slow by my standards. My son is a lot more active and doesn't take as many naps. 😔
❤❤❤ it's here!!!! Sleeping Beauties by Stephen & Owen King
About to start reading this. I've been excited about this for months! The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas
I finally finished Homegoing & I am so in love. 😍😍 I do feel the ending was a little too clean, but it still made me happy. 2 sisters living completely different lives...becoming ancestors to their family trying to find their way back home. Each part is told through a relative of each sister...and not only is it as novel, but a history lesson. Ah so much I want to say, but I think I'll save it for a blog.
My #botm picks. I plan on reading them for my October resds. I've been into a lot of suspense/thrillers lately. And I heard Sing, Unburied, Sing was pretty good. ❤
Good Morning! ❤ What are you reading today?
Loving this book so far!!! ❤❤❤
I finally finished it and I'm left underwhelmed with this book. The ending was terrible and too open ended. I found myself wandering off as I was reading it...while abortion is a touchy subject, it was too much going on for it to be this big secret as the book tried to make it seem. ⭐⭐⭐/5
I'm struggling with this book y'all... To be honest. The Mothers by Brit Bennett
Okay...So I finished What We Lose...it was written beautifully, I'll give it that...but there was a disconnect with me during part one. I wanted to give up...it seemed to drag, but part two picked up the pace, and I started to relate. I haven't lost my mother, but I lost my grandmother at a young age...and this book kind of helped me cope in a way. I really had to get use to how the book was written. ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Finally...I can get to this. What We Lose by Zinzi Clemons ❤❤❤
So I finished up this book yesterday morning. Very predictable in my opinion, but it was still good nevertheless. Regardless of the book, I felt for Mary's character. Her and her mother's relationship was pretty vague throughout, yet you still got a sense of how close...or not so close they were. I was rooting for her to have a better life...for all the girls to have a better life...but man...those were some sinister kids 😂😂😂 For those who never heard of the book, Allegedly is about a 9 year old girl who was charged with the murder of a 3 month old white baby. Allegedly. But the real question is...did she do it? I give it a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
Sunday reads. What are you reading today? Allegedly by Tiffany D. Jackson
❤❤ Angela Davis. Everybody should read this book.
