Education and safeplay.
Always use safe words. No safeword then there should be no play. Anyone that refuses to use a safe word doesn't care about you or your health.
Don't use honorifics without the persons consent first.
This is an obvious one but unfortunately needs to be said, always get consent if a person does not or cannot give consent then you don't have consent.
Research safe play. A lot of posts on here show choking/different forms of breath play, but don't show the correct way to do it without causing damage. Research, and learn before you play.
Bondage/rope/shibari etc, know which parts of the body can be tied. How tight. What knots are suitable etc. Again research everything make it safe.
Learn which parts of the body are safe for impact play.
Discuss everything with play partners.
